My family and I are so grateful that I get to do this.
The way he says "right there" just fills me with hope for mankind.

The REAL quick joke was ace. The whole video was fun and interesting. Thank you for giving us some lighthearted moments.
:) So glad you enjoyed it!
I'm still laughing at the missing period on the Speak-n-Spell.
Gotta clean up this Real Quick 😂 so many gems in this one, but that made me guffaw. Thanks for the smiles, Crafsman!
Glad you liked that! And I enjoy when things click. Sometimes an opportunity will pass right on by, and I don't catch it until I read the comments. :)
The small silence right behind it was the best 😅
@@TheCrafsMan You don't miss anything at all Crafsman! Everything in your videos is just as it should be..... I'm not even sure you really realize just how incredible your comedic genius, timing, and flow is, but I promise you my 80,000 or so of us biggest fans that watch nearly every video know exactly just how incredibly awesome you are.
There are literally tens of thousands of people on RUclips with decent size fan bases, but you are in amongst a much smaller group of RUclipsrs that are truly special to their fans. The kind of situation where most of us would love it if you never got any bigger at all so that we can keep you all to ourselves, even though deep down we all know that the entire world should know who you are.... And I don't mean because of the crafts. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love that that's what your channel is about..... but I assure you with almost absolute certainty that crafts aren't the main reason most of us are here and continue to come back every video. It's because of you personally, Crafsman.... We come here every single time because of you. Each and every one of us gets giggly as a schoolgirl the moment a Crafsman video uploads.... The actual content is just a fantastic bonus....
I know I am most definitely not alone when I say all of that because I've talked to many people about it that I have turned on to your channel. With people like Bob Ross, Steve Irwin, and Mr. Rogers all dead now, we simply don't have nearly enough of the types of souls you four have in this world anymore. So, for most of us, it's already incredible just to be able to find someone like you in 2017 - 2020 at all, but it's even more incredible to find you before all of the fame that also came along with those 3 guys. I'm not saying you're going to get to that point one day, I'm just saying it's incredible to know you before that. We all get to share in you while it's still just you and the family. No sponsors, no corporate bullcrap, nothing. Just one of the most gentle humble souls a person could ever hope to meet in a lifetime, a couple of cameras, and one absolutely incredibly creative mind.....
You always talk about how lucky yall feel or how blessed yall feel.... That's a bunch of hogwash Crafsman.... WE, your fans, are the lucky ones, truly. I'm quite sure that your wife, children, family, and friends know all too well just how incredibly special you are.... So before I end this long rant I just want to say could you please extend a huge thank you to Crafsmomma/son for sharing you with all of us, supporting you in his dream, and most importantly for allowing all of us to be a part of your lives!!!!
I know some people you know probably thought you were crazy to get into the RUclips thing, but holy moly if there aren't many tens of thousands of us that are forever grateful that you did.... That's a fact. For many tens of thousands of us you are an extremely bright soul in an otherwise quickly darkening world. That is so incredibly rare today that it is one of the most precious things a person can stumble across. I don't put you into the category with those 3 incredible men lightly. You may think that comparison is ridiculous, but really all that would do is further prove our point..... I seriously doubt any of the three of them had any realization of just how special they were either, I'm pretty sure that's a symptom of being that type of person.
I haven't seen or even thought about a Merlin in 30 years! Wow!
I forgot that I used to have one of those. It made me very nostalgic to see one again.
Hey dere crafsman
I know its kinda off topic but you inspired me to start needle felting :) so thanks! It's getting me through quarantine
I like dat right dere
i love needle felting, the best advice i got when i was starting out (ik you didn’t ask but i’ll tell you anyways) was “if you think you’re finished, you’re not” i’m not sure if he mentioned that in his video it’s been a minute since i saw it but it’s saved a lot of my projects from being too soft, just keep felting. it’s an awesome craft, best of luck!
I studied sound for film & video in college! I love your attention to sound. I just found some film for that Bolex. Do you want it? Lol.
Thank you so much! And I appreciate the offer on the film! :D But I have film stock now that I don't know what to do with, other than to eventually display. It got to be where there was only one place in the US that would process Super8, and they only took the Super8 cartridges, and didn't handle straight 8.
@@TheCrafsMan you can wave it around, and record the sound it makes!
I haven’t seen a Merlin in 30 years... 😃 another great episode crafsman.❤️
Everyone loved Simon, but a few of us knew Merlin was the superior toy.
Crafman's videos make me feel like erthang gon be alright ( :
I'm so digging how you make sound effects, have the sound booth, and are playful like a child. You are a professional and a big kid all rolled up into one.
craftsman you mean so much to me and my family, we all watch your videos on the couch... man, so cool, steady crafting!
Thank y'all SO much! This means a lot to me.

You're simply the best, Crafsman! Your videos make me smile-- and we need that during this crazy, crazy time. Thank you for all you do -- I look forward to getting a notification from my subscriptions when you post!
Thanks Crafsman
Very welcome! Thank YOU for watching and being a direct supporter!
I bought myself a Merlin about a year or two ago. I had one in high school and wanted to relive the experience. Great to see you have one too. Loved that little music animation. Very precious
I can tell that whatever you're working on that you can't tell us quite yet has got you super excited. Brought a smile to my face.
I dont know what it is about this channel but honestly I can't get enough of it.
it's honest. no hype, no (or so little) CGI, no courses to sell. just an adult playing in their shop.
"Shop Log" is written on a board, not written on a log. That missed opportunity for an uber meta dad joke gives me an itch I just can't scratch.
:D
If I'm not careful, it will start to make me itch as well. ;)
Me too. :-) I did a quick justification in my head, that all boards were once logs, and that helped a bit.
It could have been even more funny if it was "Shop's Log Star Date . . ."
Feel free to use that an you don't even need to give specific credit other than a viewer . . .
Oh, I was feeling like it was a sort of hewn log, railroad tie type thing.
Practical effects will always have more visual appeal. ;) Thanks for the great content, Crafsman.
This is one of those channels that I want to show to everyone I know, but I wouldn't know how to begin to describe it. Just trust me folks, it's worth it.
Pbs.
Newman's Own My wife and I have been saying this would be a perfect show for PBS since we first found the channel! ♥️👍🏽🤓
it's like bob ross and mr rogers neighborhood but with crafts.
That Merlin machine brings back so many memories!!!! I'm only 20 but I somehow had one of those when I was really young. Completely forgot about it.
Holy wow! I haven't seen a Merlin in decades
Oh man, I haven't thought about the Merlin in close to 40 years. Thanks for bringing that memory back 👍
Crafsman, you could make a video that was 3 hours long and most of us would watch every single second of it, multiple times....
Never doubt the dedication of about 80,000 of your biggest fan! Some days I fall asleep and wake up to the Crafsman... It doesn't get much better than that.
On the exit, I actually finished your sentence like I was a child watching Sesame Street.
Amazing. Thanks for the video.
those sound bites for the examples you made remind me of when bob ross paints, gives you the tingles in ur scalp, and makes u smile. Nice video!
Pure genuis...and, I suspect, a life time of commitment to the craft.
I’m on a mission to watch/re-watch (and like) all of your videos. Thank you for the positivity Crafsman!
The overall quality of this channel is so perfect. That is not to say I won't like change over time, if it is a change Crafsman likes I am sure I will too. The way Crafsman stays so true to himself and his craft while being legitametly humble while also creating some of the prettiest visuals and.. audials? is just fantastic in every way. This might be my favorite channel of everything I watch.
I could just listen to your voice all day..so soothing😌
To quote the great 20th century poet Vanilla Ice, “anything less than the best is a felony.”
As a musician and sound engineer, I appreciate you showing us how the sausage is made, so to speak.
That's where my Merlin and Spell N Spell went!
I'm telling my mom.
My 19 and 86 drivers training class at my high was in a AMC Grelim with two steering wheel and double pedals. That car was maintained in excellent condition by my high school's auto shop students.
Anything less than the best is a felony. I love it. You the best Crafsman
You have a highly unique talent craft man... I salute you dear boy... 👍👍👌
Crafsman. Your videos are perfect. Especially ines like these. They've got everything. And you have to pay attention so you don't miss the puns and jokes. You're a national treasure.
*ones
Crafsman you so funny “real quick” you got the best toys ever... from back in the day. Stay safe be well
Thank you for the levity! It's needed in this time of insanity.
Straight up my favourite RUclips channel, I hope Crafsman gets his opportunity to do his channel full time. Keep on Keeping on!
I love Eugene! Glad we got to see a little bit :D
I love how you break topic and go off track it keeps me locked in to see what the Crafsman gonna do next. You crazy Crafsman we love you.
Turns out they have old fashion embossing label tape on Amazon. Thought it died in the 90s, glad it lives on to keep crafsman organized ☺️
Daniel-Pablo Rossner I have the exact same tool, couple rolls of blue black and red
The AMC Javelin was a really cool looking car.
Keith Fulkerson yea it was
My older brother owned one. He let me drive it once for about five minutes. Cool car indeed!
studio: we'll need 1 million to do the sound.
CrafsMan: i can do that for like 50$. but i can't eat on 50$ so it'll be 30k$.
I had one of those Merlin's when I was younger. I think we found it in a car my dad bought. With no internet at the time, I NEVER figured out how to play it either. This is the only other time that I've seen one. I'd forgotten about it. Thanks for that oddball memory, Crafsman. ;)
Hey Crafsman, I have noticed on your shelf is a little wooden sailor man. I too have a few wooden sailor men. I have always wanted to try and make one myself, but I do not know where to even begin. I remember you did a video about carving a chicken and I wondered if you could do a video about carving a sailor man.
Love you and all you do, keep on keeping on.
Your videos make me so happy, thanks for existing Crafsman
It makes me so happy that you like Fieros! There are definitely not enough of us out there. 👍
Such joyous creativity.
I always get so happy when I see you have posted a video even if I’ve had a horrible day.
This was lovely !
Thank you
Your videos make every day better. Thanks
PS, I love the Vanilla Ice reference at the end
Song's gonna be stuck in my head for days now! :D
We love you too Crafsman!
Keep up your amazing work my man. You are a touch of sunshine in our lives!
A witty yet insightful comment.
That's what I'm talking about right there!
One of the things that you have inspired me to (think about) doing, is design and 3d print custom title letters. Have you ever thought about doing that?
CrafsMan, build a two or three-shelved, wheeled cart that you can put some of your mess on. Handy storage, easy to move around and can become another work surface. Old tables work too. Just put some casters on it. Thank you for your vids!
We gotta get The Crafsman to a MILLION SUBSCRIBERS!!!! TELL EVERYONE YOUR FAMILY YOUR FRIENDS YOUR CO-WORKERS THE LOCAL NEWS!!!!! LET'S DO IT!!!!!
Watching crafsman makes me a very happy carrot
Crafsman your show is brilliant and you're a really talented person. I've learned a lot watching your videos and appreciate everything you share in them. Keep up the great work and thanks for the laughs and positive vibes during these times.
Watching " A couple, three minutes" TheCrafsMan SteadyCraftin video would be like going to watch a long anticipated movie, sitting down in the dark theater, listen to the National Anthem and the coming attractions then they say "That's All Folks!, turn the lights back on and tell you leave. That would be DISCOMBOGULATING!......but......pleasantly......DICOMBOGULATING!!! PS...You should be the Governor of Yoru: you got my vote! Seriously CrafsMan, I thoroughly enjoy and absolutely appreciate what you do!
My jaw dropped when you pulled out the Merlin machine my brother and I used to play that alot especially the memory game
My brother had an amx javelin when I was a kid. Seemed like the fasted car around. Also there was a gremlin around town lifted up on 4 wheel drive drive train. They were cool cars.
this dude has such an unreal understanding of the aesthetic. Opens a box of letters... "Let me show you how these sound" dude KNOWS whats up.
To me the ceramic letters are more appealing that cg or photo shop letters.
Wow I had that red phone when I was kid . So Cool to see again
I dont craft ,but you crafsman always put a smile on my face 😀
Been trying to remember what the Merlin toy was called for years. Thanks!
Thanks TheCrafsMan!
CRAFMAN,THIS PLATFORM WAS MADE FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU!
This video gave me all kinds of ASMR tingles. Your videos stop time for me.
chill Sunday funnies vibin' Oh, yeah...
I wish i had a friend like you, but these videos are awesome and always a highlight to my. Stay safe, stay up.
Thank you for putting a smile on my face!!!. Best of luck with your upcoming announcement. Hope it goes the way you'd like it to.
Love the animation and your sense of humor. Lol
Awesome! Your filming techniques are just getting cooler.😁
Love AMC cars! We owned a Pacer and I took my driver’s license test in a Gremlin. My brother owned a Javelin. Still wish I had our red and white Pacer!
yassss! Im gonna choose to believe crafsman saw my question about what instruments he uses for making music and put it in a video. best day ever!! Thanks crafsman!
I had that Merlin thing, but I played it as a game lol!
Those led light are amzing . They make your vids look fabulos . Please keep on using them
Man(CMAN) can't get enough! Thanks.
the sounds.
I just like it.
Do you watch Laura Kampf's videos? She does a great job of having title text and information physically in the shot, usually written on tape. I think her stuff is great inspiration for anyone who films making things
Crafsman thank you so much for sharing your secretes i really like your new title screens. Very cool! Side note 'yoru' means night in Japanese😁
Had a brand new 1977 AMC Gremlin 4 Speed. Great car and fun to drive!!!
There's always room for HELLO!
All he needs to do is play with 80s toys and I'm hooked like a fish! Loved the Speak and Spell, haven't seen one of those since I was a kid.
That yellow Pontiac fiero.
So many subtle jokes! 👍
10:00 really like the sound that makes
CrafsMan, I LOVE the AMC's. I've wrenched on two Eagle SX4's. They handle like butter in the sun.
3:39 made my day when he pulled out that little box... got to love a volca
When craftsman comes with a new video
I see the reminder and can’t say no
I click it as fast as I can
I see the video and I’m like oh man
Your video is so amazing as can be
And happiness needs your key
Thank you, Da Crafsman.
Hey Crafsman, I'd love to see more on your analogue drum machines!
Check out that Antelope sticker on the wall!
Run run run run run run run run run run run run...
I spent a lot of time with a Merlin when I was small. Its still around somewhere.
YES! More analog instruments !
I adore this channel. I learn something new with every video and I'm always guaranteed to feel better after some steady watchin.
Thank you for all that you do and the person that you are, Crafsman 💙
You got me again! I love the Gremlin body style! Everybody I know calls it an ugly aquarium car, but I was really excited when I found a hot-wheels sized replica for $5. It's a shame I only bought one.
