I lost 32lbs (235->203lbs) last year from May to Oct and then just maintained for Nov through Dec. Then I went back to dieting this month and I lost 4.6lbs in the first 2 weeks🎉. I have about 50 more pounds to go. 2025 is going to be our year Bea🥰
Bea I'm so proud of you for continuing to work out while in a relationship. I lost 40 pounds (and had 20 more to go) right before I met my current boyfriend. In the year that we've been together, I've gained it all back and then some, so now I'm more than 60 pounds overweight. Because I don't work out. Because we're always together. And he doesn't need to work out. He's very sweet to me and tells me he's happy having a fluffy girlfriend. He wants me to be healthy but he's never down on me about my weight. I am. I hate this body. The pretty girl I used to be is trapped under all this garbage and I have no idea how to free her. Anyway, good for you for not falling into this same trap. You are an inspiration. Stevie is so lucky to have you. Be blessed.
I hear you on this. My mom used to do or say things...I am in my later years now and I realize she had many issues of her own regarding eating and her body and sense of self. You hang in there.
Yay! Bea, just keep being your wonderful self. You are a gift to this world, which is brighter just because you're here. You inspire, give hope and are an amazing problem solver. You have come so far on your journey, you should be proud. You never give up, you just go with the twists and turns in life and take each one in your stride. Thanks for being here Bea! From across the pond 😊
Dr. Mike is fantastic and his videos are awesome!! He gives great advice but he’s also good about calling himself out on his own shit when something isn’t right. Great video!!
It's always great to hear you think out loud. Smart goals have really helped me in the past! And it makes it more clear on days I forget what I am doing haha
Beeeeeeeaaa!!! I got caught up with life and hadn’t been tuning in. I finally got caught up! I’m glad to see that you’re still trucking along with us. Thanks for continuing to let us into your life. 2025!!! Life is LIFIN’ and we are right there with you trying to grow too. Sending good vibes from San Antonio, Texas!!! ❤
You’re the second creator I’ve heard mention SMART goals and I am all for it. Since it cut off can you share with us some examples of your goals? Also, randomly, while watching I remember when you first started your blog and how you just started cooking. You’ve had so many milestones with us! Don’t ever lose sight of that 🎉
My house (Florida Gulf coast) flooded 18 inches during hurricane Milton last October. It's mostly back together now except I don't have a kitchen. I love watching you cook! My great contractor tells me I'll be back to cooking myself in a week or so.
I just love seeing your chickens! Their sweet little faces and their clucking is so beautiful. We have a pet pigeon and she is definitely part chicken! Same walk, same look sometimes and silly LOL. I love all your animals!
I don't have chickens, but I do have a small back porch that is not closed in, so when it snows, it blows onto the porch and it's annoying. I ended up adding a curtain rod and bought a clear vinyl shower curtain to hang. This way I can slide it back out of the way on non-snowy days; but when it's fully drawn on snowy days it allows me to see what the dog is doing when I let him out for breaks lol Just an idea for the chicken coop if you wanted to hang one over the door area so you can slide it open and closed when you want to access the coop but still prevent snow from entering and it gives them a clear view of the yard.
Yay! Hi Bea from the UK! Been watching your videos for years and years now. So good to see your journey! You brighten our days with your fabulous personality and realness.
I haven’t seen your videos in a while it seems but I’m so happy I am again. Your candor and smile are just the most incredible thing to watch. You are one of my comfort creators and you inspire me to be a better version of myself (for little Jenna, or course). Don’t give up on you, we’re supporting you! 💕🎉
Thanks for the video recs! The info seems like a really reasonable way to combat my usual all-or-nothing, crash-and-burn style. I’m recovering from a cold, so I definitely need to ease back in to a routine.
I love Dr.Mike. his information has been so useful for me. I'm doing a 12 week diet now. Then a minimum of 12 weeks at maintenance. I did it last year and lost 30lbs and have kept it off. I only have like 15lbs left to go...
I appreciate that you show us how things actually are for you. It's relatable and helps everyone feel normal. Great advice from Mike Isratel, but some things he says are a bit unhinged (check out where he chats with other Dr. Mike) so I recommend being careful.
Hi Bea, I recently subscribed (thought I already was, but oh well)! 😅 Just wanted to say that your videos bring me so much joy- waiting (with bated breath) to see your Grandma's choice of shirt always brightens up my dark corner of Scandinavia. 🌼

@BeatriceCaruso thanks for the reply! Loving this video. Just finished watching. Your grandma is too cute with her Oreo shirt, you take amazing care of the chickens, and that tomato soup looked so good.
WOW your Grandma is so so fun! I had 3 G'ma's and the only one I liked was my Step-Grandma. I would have traded all 3 for yours! Where does she buy her t-shirts from? She is cool!!! Standing in front of the Oreos . Your tomato soup looks amazing. Good for you getting the weights workout in. Ive just subscribed to your channel. I very much enjoy your honesty and personality!
You have some nice chickens! Hopefully, I'll be able to put out a small garden spot this summer in one of the community garden boxes here at the complex. I had wondered what happened to the end of your previous video. 😂
Always happy to see one of your videos up! If you are looking for video suggestions, I would love to see a video of you making boredom busters for the chickens!
girrrlll we got the same food scale, i was literally eating grilled cheese and tomato soup while i watched this, so many fun surprises of twinning. thank you for another fun upload!!
Love your vlogs Bea. I’ve seen a wintertime solution for your chicken coop, but it would probably be a bit of an initial investment. Basically its clear perspex panels that you fit into the sides of the coop, with wooden toggles to keep them in place. They can then be removed in the springtime and stored in the garage/a shed. It would essentially turn the outdoor part of the chicken coop into more of an indoors space for the chickens. You could then use some heaters safely for them there to help them keep warm. Check out Garden Answer- she has that kind of set up for her chicken coop as well.
@BeatriceCaruso you're doing great! We will be here for you no matter how often you post. Take care of yourself. It's always a treat to see your updates, but don't overwork yourself! ❤️
Love the talk about goals! I need to do that too. Not wishy-washy "I'll do that", but actually be specific on what they are. Hopefully it will help me stop floundering. 😂 2025, the year of tangible goals! 🎉
This is kind of what I did, if I understood you correctly. I lost 7kg in the last 5 years. So little for so long? Well, I don't function well on a diets and prologned calorie deficit, even a reasonable one. So I made my goal to not gain any more in all this time, while having a good 1-2 months a year going on a deficit, and then kind of living on my maintenance with an occasional deficit. I didn't even notice any of it and was never restricted or never put any shame on myself. It happened naturally over time, because I wasn't rushing nowhere. The difference in my apperance is bigger because I did it along with semi-regular light weightlifting over the last 3 years. I also was focusing more on eating good foods with more proetin, rather than counting every calorie in the air.
Happy to lay in bed this morning and bingewatch your last couple videos. I always love to save them for a bad day, i dont watch like anything else on youtuble lol
Bea- love the new cookware and the fancy soup and sandwiches. Not my mom’s cambell’s soup out of a can with wonder bread and velveeta cheese. I think I’d like yours better!
Yeah! Its so simple but my favorite thing ever! You just roast the veggies in the oven til they get soft and maybe even a bit charred at 425 degrees I usually leave them in about 40 minutes.
Ooh I have that hair mask and love it. It is very needed when I am swimming regularly. oOH I don't know if this idea will help with letting your chickens roam. I saw a short where this guy put a mat out in his yard before it snowed, then after he could remove the mat so there was a patch of uncovered yard for his dog to do it's business. you'd have to keep the girls from wandering onto the snowy area though so might be too much of a hassle.
Chickens are actually very cold tolerant so as long as their feet stay dry they will be fine. We have 8 and they actually really liked the little bit of snow we got.
Grandma needs a vlog. She is a whole vibe and I’m here for it!!
She really is the moment😂
Agreed!
She is an Oreo advertisement
Hahah yes! A day in her life and ootds!
Her Oreo-moment was so cute 😂❤ Your grandma is ADORABLE!
