Rode that in '73 when the park opened, was told to keep my hands inside as there were monkey's in the trees (at WoF). The best coaster they ever had, and no seat belts too! Thanks for posting, enjoyed the ride once more! Also, WoF just announced they are rebuilding the Zinger as a wooden/steel hybird near the same spot and open in 2023.
I remember climbing the spiral lift several times a week when the cars got stuck partially up. Hanging off the side and manually releasing the brakes to slowly bring them back down to the loading area to try again. Love that they kept the tunnel near the end of the ride.
That was a huge treat. Thank you for making the trip and taking us along. Can't wait to send a link to this to my Irish Twin Brother. Also, I think we All must thank the Greenhouse/Landscape/Botany geniuses at Worlds Of Fun. Having been to 10 or so parks spread from K.C. to Cali, I think brilliant plantings just amplify the magic. Thanks again.
This is SO great! This was such a wonderful rollercoaster; good length, lots of variety in the twists and turns, and a tunnel! I enlarged it and sat close to the computer screen so that I felt I was there again. I always missed it when it was removed from World's of Fun...
man this brings back so m any fun memories of going there as a kid in the 70's. This was the first adult coaster I ever road before that I was to little and always had to ride the kiddie coaster. It makes me want to take a trip to Columbia to ride it again
At WoF, it was located where the worthless Boomerang ride is now. When WoF got rid of it, they sold it to this park which I believe is somewhere in Colombia (the country in SA).

Just like visiting an old friend awesome
That’s so cool, I loved that roller coaster so much as a kid in KC. Happy for you guys! Love the shirts!
Thank you for sharing! Very sweet memories from the 80s and 90s in Kansas City.
Don't forget the 70s ... I worked there from 1976-1978 🥰
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. Thanks for posting this.
I've ridden that coaster at WOF countless times. So strange to see it in a different park.
Awesome! I rode it as a kid visiting family in KCMO, we are from Florida. My friends all gasped when I told them there was no seat belts or lap bars.😁
Well here 2 yrs later they are rebuilding it and seemingly keeping the integrity of it so that's good I never saw a pov of the original
Always been my favorite coaster at WOF. Thanks for sharing.
That was great, just like wof
I sure miss that coaster
High quality production value for coaster vlog
This was always my favorite WOF ride!
Still looks Well-maintained
Good to see a familiar face in this video! I worked with Matt at worlds of fun
Any chance of reposting this without the music?

Move on, music is great
@@terryburks6839 not for someone wanting the sounds to go with the sights of riding this coaster.
@@satsuke The sounds on Zinger were part of the experience, I totally get the request. Just the whine and hum of the lift hill by itself is iconic.
Love that coaster
Awesome! This is second only to Superman:ROS (SFNE) on my list.
And a classic Von Roll Skyride
Where was the icon location I would love to go a ride on the "zambezi zinger " WOF icon

Yes it didn't have many safety features 😂🤣
Still no seat belts?!
love the video after you are in sight of the Zinger, next time leave out the shitty music
