The OZ.1i looks great but if I go for a LAB putter then most likely I would opt for the OZ.1 with no insert as I prefer a softer feeling putter plus I play a firm golf ball (2024 TP5x) and that combination would just be way too firm feeling for me I reckon, so which golf ball do you play?
@@joshoddy Yip so maybe I should also consider the OZ.1i, I have played that ball also but it just felt too firm on and around the greens, for me the TP5x offers very similar performance to the Left Dash but with much better feel.
I have a Mezz Max with TPT, very interested in the insert, zero lean option and GEARS shaft of the OZ. But I'm not in a rush so don't have mind waiting to try it in-store. One of the best features of LAB is the custom options. I recommend it and the heavy head.
how tall are you? i’m 5”10 and just ordered the 36in 70 lie angle… they recommended 35 but i sometimes use claw and don’t mind gripping down. i hope its fine. i also got 0 degrees shaft lean
@ Is the Pistol Grip off set for the 2 degree shaft lean? If so, this means that you got the Pistol grip with the heavy head, so no counterbalance, you feel it’s ok…? Thanks for your input!
@ Head weight is also a matter with DF 2.1 and DF 3…I found out, that if the standard head weight of the DF 2.1 is perfect for you, the DF 3 with the heavier head weight is the adequate choice…more weight in the „magic“ screws compensate the lighter (smaller) head…DF 3 standard head weight might be too light

@@scottwatson9479 I play pro v1x left dash lol doesn’t get much firmer hahaha

yes this OZ is beautiful.
@@joshoddy I'm leaning red with racing stripes down the middle. Haha.
@ hahahaa
Been obsessing over this for the last couple of weeks… dangerous. Someone needs to give me a slap into the real world!
it is the one brooo
@ £600 feels a lot but if it’s that good then I’ll be looking at it seriously. Think there’s a fitter near me in Glasgow

Love my DF3. I am near LAB HQ. I might snag it for a feel switch once a year
haha it is unbelievable.
Any fitting recommendations Josh? Don’t fancy spending without exploring all options first.
Use the online fitting service it's amazing!
This is basically a Mezz filled in at the back, DF2/3s going nice and cheap if you aren't bothered about a metal insert
I love the face insert and head shape!
Got the LA broomer mezz Maxx. Hope they Will release oz in broomsoon🎉
@@Mariushovland91 yeh that will be CRAZY!!!
Super random q but do the mezz headcovers fit the oz?
yes I do believe.
20 putts with my $30 two bar blade eBay purchase. I think I'll use the rest of the $ for a hotel room at Pebble Beach, thanks.
haha enjoy the 3 putts champ
2degree?
Heavier head?

Thanks for your input!
@ no I believe they go perfectly together as the shaft lean is 2° along with 2° pistol grip
Everything is telling me the spend £500 on a putter even though I putt well enough with my £300 spider
You will not regret it that is all I can say!
No such thing as too many putters…
THAT IS A FACT!
Mezz fanboy looking on enviously.
@@iloveturtle315 haha mezz is unreal but this is even better!
Does the oz feel as stable as the df3? Only fear is that it will feel lighter and easier for my crap stroke to manipulate the face 😂
It feels incredibly stable.
I think, the option of a heavier than standard head is highly recommended
@@high_alpine_golfer yes I love the slightly heavier head especially on slower greens in UK

Who puts on a simulator
The import tax on these is stopping me from buying
They have retailers in UK now!
@ but do they offer custom fitting?
Plat 3 at best
Diamond 1*
Lol, pure opinion😂 the putter is most important most used club per round in your bag get fitted by a certified pro, not some youtube yahoo
I have not given any fitting advise just given my specs and opinion. I think you should go get fitted or at least do an online fitting!
