- It’s apparently baby-having time in my circle of friends. Not one, not two, but three of my friends and their spouses had a baby earlier this summer, all within a month and a half of each other. I decided to make each friend a little something to celebrate their new bundle of joy!

Finally! A demo on baby blocks, that actually creates a finished project that is safe for a child to play with.
Thank you!
I liked and subscribed.
Hey there, you're very welcome, and thanks for subscribing! :) Take care!

Thanks a lot, Charles! :)
I’ve just stumbled upon your channel.
I’m just starting out my own woodworking and laser journey and I love your work.
Your attention to detail is awesome.
Welcome, and thank you so much for the kind words! I do strive for attention to detail, so I'm glad that comes across! Good luck on your own laser journey - it's a fun ride! :)
Good Job! Creative and well done

Thank you very much! Glad you liked!
turned out really nice!
Thanks a lot, Tim!
The only one of those bear icons I can't figure out for the life of me is the glasses and mustache one. Project turned out great by the way!
Delmona Haha, totally fair! It’s “Teddy” Roosevelt! Thanks, glad you liked the project!
@@FarbulousCreations I should have realized! Great work!
@@delmona492 It WAS probably one of the more obscure ones. That, and porridge. 😂
@@FarbulousCreations That one I got because of goldilocks on there as well. I don't think I would have otherwise haha
Brilliant!
Thank you!
what is the brand and model of your laser? Is there any lasers you recommend that can engrave 5" wood?
Hey there, I was wondering which laser engraver/cutter you are using. Looking for one that is able to do wooden blocks as well, instead of just flat piece of wood. Good video, thanks!
Hey Thomas! Back when I made this video I was using an old Full Spectrum laser cutter at my local maker space, but nowadays I have my own Thunder Laser, a Nova 35-80. I did a video on why I picked that laser, if you're interested!

Hope that helps! Cheers!
This is soo inspirational, I know nothing about this stuff but I’m learning. What kind of laser do you use?
Hey Sumer! Thank you for the kind words! I currently use the laser cutter at my local maker space here in Minneapolis, but I hope to soon purchase one of my own. If you're just getting started, definitely look into maker spaces, tool libraries, or universities that may be near you that would let you get started with the hobby! Hope that helps! :)
@@FarbulousCreations thanks so much for replying! I made my friend one for her child. I used the mini 3000mw engraver which takes about 15 minutes each side 🤦🏻♀️ but totally worth it. I also bought already cut wooden 1.5’ blocks until I learn how to use a saw 😂. Thanks again for this great tutorial video!!
I would like a training.
Hey there! I don't do one-on-one trainings, but I do put a good amount of behind-the-scenes design process into my videos so feel free to subscribe and follow along! :)
Poo emoji is a good baby emoji
I thought so too! That's also one of Talia's favorite illustrations so I had to include it. ;)
