I love and adore her and the music she created with CB. But as I have gotten older I find myself even more attracted to her soley for her mind and conscience that she has shared. Really very beautiful woman. Wish I could share a cup of coffee and conversation with her.
love this woman, the voice of a true maiden, a modern day Janis Joplin and more. hope for a coupla more great albums. she's a here and now type, I like that in a woman. Independant and very pretty. peace
My band opened for CB in the early 90's at the Palomino Club in Charlotte, NC. Johnette's grandparents showed up in a huge RV and we had lasagna. She was amazingly open to all of us in the band. I first saw her when I walked in the door of my condo and she was on 120 minutes. They were doing God Is A Bullet. By the time the song was over, I was in front of the tv on my knees. Oh, and that was the night I started trying to understand all things Mankey.
I saw this interview many moons ago and I give kudos to the interviewer. She did a great job and asked some really good questions. I loved seeing Johnette be so open and honest about her life.
As far as I am concerned Johnette is an absolute American Treasure for not just her immense body of brilliant artistic work but also her incisive educative philosophy. I struggle to comprehend how any person can live with that level of creative talent and yet be so beautifully grounded as is evidenced by her interviews and podcasts. There is rarely a day go by without me seeking out a JN snippet of some kind ... I adore her daily tarot reading on FB even though it is of an intellectual level well above my skillset!! 🥰😍🤩
Hi... My name is Omar and I'm from Lima, Peru. Peru is not such a poor country, LOL!!!. CB played in Lima in February 2010. Unfortunately I could not see them. I discovered their music this year 2012 and I became a fanatic. Johnette always speaks more to the interviewer, hahaha!!!!. Great interview, congratulations. Merry Christmas!!!.
I was going to type something about Johnette -- who is amazing -- but I can't remember what it was (I'm old too). Come back to Austin, TX Johnette and we can talk about our dying brain cells...
For an "old" lady, she's still gorgeous and personable and still has a sense of fun and art. Plus, while stealing her mail and digging through her trash I've found that she still has a healthy libido. Well...maybe it's not healthy, but it's aggressive. She's a good cook based on such investigations.
this woman is doing what she was here on this planet to do.

I've been a fan since 1986
I remember giving her flowers on stage one night in Toronto. Before cell phones.
