    When we use it, LUT we often don't turn it on and set it to 2.2, we just need to set the gamma in the renderer Colo, and turn on the color and gamma, and let Max automatically save the image to get the one we want.

    When you rendered the image using color mapping only and saved the image at override 1.0 the image was correct , why in the end of the video you said to overied to 2.2 when using color mapping only ?

    • @SaeedMandegarTutorials
      @SaeedMandegarTutorials  4 года назад +2

      To have a correct gamma, there's two ways, 1. use color mapping only with overide 2.2 to retrieve the lost gamma. or use color mapping & gamma with overide 1.0, coz when you use color mapping and gamma the application will fix it and there's no need to apply gamma 2.2 while saving. this options works correct when you turn off the RGB Display in VFB.

      Hi, Please join my discord, send me your render settings and I will help you get higher render quality or better render output.
      As for now, what I can say is to set your gamma while saving your render output on Override: 1.0 or 2.2 ( test which one would work best for you ), and then save your image.
      Hope it helps ✌

    Hi there! I followed your process in saving .jpg file and it works fine. but my problem is when I save it on .png or other file format. the result is the same as if it was saved thru Automatic? Do you know how to fix this?

    • @SaeedMandegarTutorials
      @SaeedMandegarTutorials  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Jonnel Tan. Do you see (open) the result in photoshop or windows image viewer?
      Notice that, when you save it as .png, as far as it separates the alpha channel, it looks pale, you need to add a background layer ( in photoshop ) and fill it with black to fix this failure. ( if I understood u well ).

    I left a like and thanks for the video, but I want to ask: do One have to change something when importing "technical textures" like roughness or specular etc. Should those maps be loaded with some gamma modifications ? What about placing HDRIs in lights etc. This linear workflow was always such a pain for me :|

    Have you ever face this problem? What causing this happens?
    Problem: I have two seperate scene file downloaded from website when I put my furniture and render it, two of the rendering images which have same materials and same gamma but they have different(furniture colour) final rendering. Both of the rendering is gamma 1.0, but one look like gamma 2.2, the only way to solve my problem is lower it to gamma 0.5

      and move your camera more towards the cabinet rather than showing the whole window frame. bring it a little down around 0.8 to 0.9 cm. hope it works. let me see the result then.
