Omfg I wanted to answer back to the person who answered here before and accidentally deleted the comment cuz my phone was acting up 😭 Just wanted to say everyone can relate to every character regardless of gender, but it's nice seeing ones that have your own too!

RIGHT i want to see girls written into stories that are bloody, violent, and they can be caring at the same time like a villain but the audience loves them, or just outright evil and ruthless. i hate how in most anime/movies and stuff they make the girl cutsie 99% of the time
im a guy and this is very cool. i recognize all the characters and anime except 0:25 and 0:36, can someone tell me what animes these characters are from? also i thin lain from serial experiments lain, Motoko Kusanagi from ghost in the shell and Casca from beserk would be good addition to this edit
All the animes are in the description and better yet are in the exact order they appear in the video. Its almost as rare and beautiful as the video itself lol
I have no problem to a female version of "Literally me", but probably the reason of you have a very large number of masculine characters that exists in this archetype is because the man's loleliness is often unspoken and neglected. That's why is "Literally me", because no one talks about the man's loneliness, is the only characters that represents that really capture that felling. I have to say that, again, i'm not against that edit, and actually is very fricking good. And also my point does not mean that girl's can't fell lonely, is more about the mental health of men being unspoken, just like the loneliness of "literally me" characters, that just go crazy because they have no one to talk about those feelings.
Glad you enjoyed the edit! :) I agree that men's mental health is a very big issue and something that should be taken way more seriously. I also agree that loneliness is a human problem, regardless of gender. On that note, I do believe that male characters have always been taken more seriously and have had more room to grow and explore their conflicts and character, while female ones have mostly supporting roles, like being the pretty love interest, and not very often have the same quality of dreams and struggles. This is why there's so many iconic male characters in media, and not so much for female characters. Thus, I love when there's a strong, ambitious or struggling female character. Struggling people in the real world exist in all genders. Loneliness is a disease that affects everyone at some point in their lives. And that's why I believe it's so important for everyone to open up their hearts to people, to listen, and never to be tied down by social expectations or fear. That kindness and strength will lead us to a good place :)
That starting with Homura is perfect
regardless of gender, these women are literally me
It's really cool to see girls embrace the literally me trend, welcome C:

So happy to see Revy in this. A Balalaika or Roberta edit with this song would be fire. Awesome work!
I was thinking of Balalaika too!! I love her, but decided to go with Revy for some reason lol Thanks a bunch! :)

As a guy, I think asuka is still the best written female character as I can resonate with her. Also all the choices here I really like, well done.
I can't wait to see where they take Homura's character arc
One movie later: by talos this can't be happening
GIRLBOSS, ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER SLAY, QUEEN 👑
Tanya Degurechaff also fits into the "literally me" category.

wow a lot of my waifu here! :)
Honestly I think Rei and Madoka could also fit in the "literally me" category, for different reasons.
Homura not woman,girl( :> )
Yeah the video has both girls and women, but just went with the latter word lol 😁
@@ilikestardew1932 ok:>
Bocchi is female version as well.
Where’s Lain? Without her there’s no literally me among women.
She's already appeared in other more popular videos, so I decided to use some other characters. Sorry about that lol 😁
