If you are not using misericorde or red/blue knife talismans there's not a lot of benefits in ripostes If you just keep attacking you do more damage, apply more status effect build-up and even extra poise damage WHILE the enemy is still down, like when he basically double-stunned Morgott with charged R2's Tldr: Charlie's build is significantly more effective if he doesn't go for ripostes
For most bosses, charged heavy or jumping heavy will outweigh the bleed procs. Use 2-4 charged heavies, knock them down, then light attacks to build up bleed before they get back up.

@@mclovinn_809 Elden ring takes about 4-5x as long to complete than every other souls game. Every other dlc that’s been released has been 6-10 hours in length. I edited my original one because minimum was a stretch sure, but I don’t think it’s crazy to see a 50 hour DLC come from them.
