      Seriously. Its the same reason why thiannis has a roster spot. Same reason why Taylor Griffin "played" in the NBA.
      Will his kid be good? Who knows? But some team will 1000% draft him for the press.

    Cleveland? The only team that has a remote chance of convincing LeBron to leave LA (close his career in his hometown), a big hole on the wings, very good overall talent and is in the weakest conference, where the Lakers with current record would be playing for the third seed or something.
    Philly already tried once, they may try again, and OKC also may want to try it out, considering they clearly would love an upgrade over Giddey and they have way more picks than they can actually use.

    • @Herbalizer28
      @Herbalizer28 4 месяца назад

      East is weak overall but top heavy ! Boston, Philly and Milwaukee can beat any team when healthy (or well coached..)..even CLE and MIA are dangerous when at full strength... as opposed to the WEST where you have 2 young and inexperienced teams in the top-3..Besides Denver, no team is really that solid..OKC have no real centers, NOP have lazy players, Wolves are getting there but need experience..It's probably tougher to make the playoffs but easier to make the Finals in the WEST nowadays !

    • @12gark
      @12gark 4 месяца назад

      @@Herbalizer28 outside of Boston, there is no one in the east that would make the playoff in the west. Philly would have without Embiid getting injured, but that's it.
      Milwaukee is barely .500 against the west, and every other team has a bad record against the west, and playing 20 less games against Hornets, Wizards, Raptors, Nets and Pistons would mean they would be behind the Warriors in the standings.
      That's the sad reality: the east has 1 contender, a second good team with a star that is never healthy and effective in the postseason (Embiid) and a team with a bad coach and no defense that may get bounced in the first round despite having Giannis on the team.
      The Lakers are 11 games over .500 and are 9th in the standing. That's how good the west is compared to east.
      You can discount OKC and Minnesota as much as you like, but they are less flawed than every east team outside of Boston.

    • @Herbalizer28
      @Herbalizer28 4 месяца назад +1

      @@12garkYou know what ?! You are absolutely right ! I never realized that ! I guess I overestimated these East teams...I do think that the Bucks are better than their record under Doc, and I hated that they "gave in" to Giannis' call for help by getting Lillard (and lost some respect for Giannis for doing so) and Philly is definitely a top teams in the league with Embiid, but the rest aren't that impressive....I actually though that CLE would be better this year..they have a stacked team, but somehow can't seem to make it work..
      Meanwhile, both LAL and GSW are 20-10 against East teams..So yeah..West is still the strongest conference..And don't get me wrong, I love both OKC and MIN, but I'm worried about experience..that's all..

    • @kevinsmithfan37
      @kevinsmithfan37 4 месяца назад +1

      @benoitwaffle5439 which is all the reason why what I said makes sense. If you are the warriors with the 53th pick and you know the lakers are gonna take him at 55 you force their hand. They have to give you that 55 pick, but they are also gonna have to give you something else now because do you really want LBJ going to the warriors on a cheap as fuck deal? It's a win-win for LBJ cause either the lakers give up their 2nd and a future 2nd or they lose LBJ to the warriors. If the warriors keep bronny all they did was burn a late 2nd round pick for 1 year with an all star+undrafted level player vs picking the 52nd best player in a weak draft class...omg they pass up say Tyrese Proctor. When you get past 50 in the draft, realistically, the best you can hope for is a role player that is gonna need time to develop (that doesn't help the warriors) but, a move where they either keep bronny or get another pick out of it does
      LBJ already said he would take a pay cut to play with his son, you add playing with Steph to that. Considering Steph's timeline you need cheap win now pieces.

      Vassell, Bron, Keldon, Wemby, and a top pick has a real chance to add 30+ wins next year. If they traded picks for one of Garland, LaMelo, Young, Murray, or maybe Derrick White if the Celts underperform in the playoffs, that's one of the most talented team LeBron's played on.

      I know Phoenix forfeited (or more accurately got stripped of) their 2nd Round pick for violating the rules around negotiating with free agents. Think they talked to Drew Eubanks before his free agent window officially oppened. Not sure who else lost their 2nd rounder but it was probably for some similar minor violation.

    I think the idea is exciting, but not the potential outcomes. On a good team, Bronny gets benched and doesn't develop. On a middling team, they trade away their best players for Lebron and the team tanks when LBJ inevitably leaves in a year or two. On a bad team, Bronny costs them a really valuable pick, the young players don't get ball time, and the rebuild suffers.
    There are a number of teams who would roll the dice, but four what long term cost?

    It's embarrassing. This will make Bronny a laughingstock in the league. Bronny is not an NBA-caliber player. They should have Austin Rivers chat with Bronny about the perception of nepotism in the league. Even though Austin Rivers was a much better player at the same age as Bronny, he still got into it because his father (Doc Rivers) pulled him onto his team.

    Someone may draft him, but even if he just goes to workouts and gets feedback it is worth it for him. He doesn't even need to get drafted to get picked up by a team... I think you guys are too low on this. It's a horrible draft, he's got a pedigree and a name, and there's something like a one-in-three chance you'll get a year (or more?) of a top 10 player out of it. If you're taking 25% of the oomph out of your pick to maybe get Lebron James and be must-see TV and must-purchase season tickets that's a swap almost anybody would love to make. He's going to go in the first, and I don't think it'll just be contenders in the running. If you're a fringe playoff team, wouldn't you want the ultimate team leader and example for your young guys, and someone who can get you to a respectable playoff push and the attendant big-game experience for your own guys?
    Like, I'm a Raptors fan, and if they used the #17 Indiana pick on him, I wouldn't hate it? It's a horrible draft. I bet someone talks themselves into being the national media darling for a whole season at the cost of a maybe-low minute rotation type guy.

    Here is why I think the Spurs make the most sense…
    Spurs take Bronny at top of second round. He will be available.
    LeBron wants to play with his son in the NBA (who wouldn’t want that if they’re in his position).
    Play with Wemby!!!!!!!!!!
    LeBron loves Pop.
    Spurs get a proven winner and a scorer with gravity to unlock Wemby’s full potential.
    Bronny adds depth to the Spurs at PG.
    Bronny lands in an ideal situation to develop.

    Bronny James can always go back to college. Bronny James is good enough to enter the draft if his career his career choice is basketball. If he was talentless I would recommend him to stay in college. What is the rush? The college is not going anywhere. I believe he would actually go to Ohio State instead of U.S.C. He actually chose U.S.C. for non-educational reasons. Close to home, dad, and coach recruitment. The lakers. That is not how you choose a college for degree purposes. Don't criticize Broony James. When he chooses a college he will pick one that has the best educational program to teach him what he wants to learn. Just like you shop for NBA teams with biggest paycheck. You shop for NFL teams with the biggest paycheck. Baseball.
