My solution that gives me 50-70 MORE FPS is deleting the cache as was shown here, but then I need to reboot my computer before starting PoE2. Iv'e tried different things and even set up a script so that when I turn off my computer for the night it automatically deletes the cache so I don't need to remember doing it or have to do it before playing the game, but it did not work. Just deleting the cache and then play? Doesn't work. Delete, then reboot, and my FPS jumps from 50 with micro stutters to to a smooth 120-130.
@@KipacWF Sure, but like I said it only worked if I rebooted afterwards. Place this in a bat file and change USER for your user name: REM Check if the directory exists and delete it if exist "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\ShaderCacheD3D12" ( echo Deleting directory... rmdir /s /q "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Path of Exile 2\ShaderCacheD3D12" if %errorlevel% == 0 ( echo Directory deleted successfully. ) else ( echo Failed to delete directory. ) ) else ( echo Directory does not exist. ) REM Shutdown the computer echo Shutting down the computer... shutdown /s /t 0 pause
@@CedricDur Thanks ill check it out, and for how long does the perfomance stay on top? Like do you notice any degrading troughout the day during gaming? Do u feel like having to do this procedure more than once? Edit: Altho i must say this is the solution for now. Thank you.
@@KipacWF I notice no degradation. I do it once and then try not to log off PoE2 and as far as I've noticed 4-5 hours later the FPS are still smooth. And you're welcome o/

On NVidia GPU's you can set the shader cache size in the NVidia Control Panel. Setting it to unlimited might help if your cache is always full.

Du kannst in der regestry auch amd`s shadercache ändern mit 3 0 für Aus, 3 1 für standart und 3 2 für always on
1000 dank, bester man :)
