I love the SaGa series especially Romancing SaGa, they're known for being very off the cuff RPGs with amazing music. It's one of Square's oldest series next to Final Fantasy.
Another insane track from this game is the "decisive battle: final battle with Saruin". Absolutely amazing. Kenji Ito is the king of rpg battle themes.

Omg just found your video for this and I’m glad some one else knows what the hell flamenco guitar is ^^ but ya this is one of my favourite themes from that game I also feel like you’d love the opening theme it’s also quite nice
I love this game and this series. I've put over 400 hours into this one title alone playing all the characters through and getting everything except the final boss with 10 fatestones. They are tough as nails but they grow on you so hard. Even the early 90s SNES games have such kicking tracks. Kenji Ito is amazing!
If you like this you should definitely listen to the fire temple and wind temple of tales of Zestiria ( the game sucks but some soundtrack are incredible , thanks to goo shiina , probably one of the only composer who can match Soken )
I have to admit, I originally didn't give this game a chance because of how weird the gameplay was, but I've been wanting to give it another chance, and this is pushing me to do that.
Interesting track and interesting to hear your input on the flamenco in particular, for me personally this track didn't really do enough, the flamenco solo was beautiful but apart from that not much sticks out tbh. I guess it is meant to be the star of the show but I don't know I'm left wanting for more variety from the entire song

Final Battle is good, but I prefer the battle music for the Fatestone battles.
