I thought it would be cool to add, that chair in the basketball court is one that is used for time out challenges. It hasn't been won in years and is a sponsored item from a nearby furniture retailer. It was used recently in a lay down free throw challenge. If you win the challeneg you win the chair.
I am a now former member of the Kansas State University Marching Band. I marched on that field for 5 out of 6 years in my college career. I did the clarinet (yes it was tough in the winter). Because I was in the band, I got to witness them win the Big XII Championship in 2023. Go Cats!

As a Manhattan resident, thats actually not a farm. It's part of the agriculture campus for K-State :). It's also about only a 3 minute drive to the downtown area (aggieville)
The chair that you saw in bramlege, is for a contest that we do sometimes. They will grab one fan out of their seats and they have 30 seconds to try to make a three pointer while reclined in the chair.
Don't know when you did your walk thru. You missed the new indoor and outdoor practice football fields. The castle part of The Bill is on the west side, the new facilities are on the east side. There's only a wide sidewalk separating the two.
Only two schools I know with respect for their coaching legends equal or more revered than Kstate and Bill Snyder...Nebraska Cornhuskers fan love of Tom Osborne is definitely more intense than any I've ever seen and always got a similar sense of loyalty with the Oklahoma Sooners with Switzer back in the day.
