This is the first concert vid I've seen so far where you can not only hear the band pretty well but the audience is balanced with it and you can really hear the enthusiasm all around. Makes it that much better to listen to and watch. Awesome recording, thanks for posting!
I caught the band in Manchester UK last year - ive been attending concerts since 1974 and this was not a concert - it was an "EVENT" - what a show!!. I would'nt hesitate to go and see them again ....

The Strat ghoul is a fantastic player ! So tasty ! Rhythm and bass ghoul are so tight ! Drum ghoul and keyboard ghoul and ghoulets never miss a beat. Overall , this is the best act I've seen in decades. Like the first time I saw ZIGGY STARDUST, I walked around telling everyone about BOWIE .

While tickets for good seats/floor for a lot of bands become excessively expensive, it really is on another level to be near the front of a performance. I used to always get seats for ~$100 near the back/up high but after seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra (not everyone's cup of tea but a great show imo) from the 4th row, I will happily spend more (probably no more than $300 though) to get good seats for bands that I really like and who put on a good show. Totally worth it! It's not like me or most people are going to a concert every weekend for the entire year lol. I go to maybe 5 or 6 concerts a year, depending on who's touring and which dates/venues etc.
I shelled out almost $200 for VIP for Nightwish once and it was worth front row to be able to see Floor so closely you could see her breathe in deeply before belting out a long note. And the swear dripping down Empuu's face with his tongue sticking out. Worth it.
In “Rats” the way Papa just runs from on side of stage to the other,that really amused me 😭. Cant wait to see them next June!After many years i’ll finally see them live!!!It will be my first rock concert ever too !Im super excited :).
Just recently discovered this band #3 weeks before the show in Trenton. The concert was an absolutely amazing experience both visually and musically wise. Now I can relive that night over and over again as much as I want. Thanks for posting!
All things considered this is pretty high quality, thanks! I did a ctrl-f: "Forever" and got no results. For anybody wondering, the bit that starts at roughly 22:07 is "Forever Young" by Rod Stewart. A lot like Type O Negative, Ghost has a talent for covers that are quite different from the original and still sounds like it completely belongs.
I was watching the Queen Live Aid performance and it dawned on my how much Tobias learned from Freddy Mercury for the Copia/Emeritus 4 character and it’s brilliant.
That was awesome. I found out about Ghost a few weeks ago and within the first week, I bought tickets to see them in Syracuse in August. I'm 47 and I'm bringing my 75 year old father (he loves the same music as I do).
The first concert video I watched of them a few months back I actually questioned if they were actually playing. The performances are flawless. You take a band like Metallica I’ve seen them perform a handfunk of times. The concerts are always great, but Kurt will flub a solo for a measure or two, James may be slightly under pitch in a chorus. All mistakes that are understandable during a live show. I happen to be a U2 fan and again, they can perform in front of 80 thousand people and feel comfortable but you’ll get a song where Bono forgets the lyrics (even though he’s staring at the lyrics on a screen). Ghost sound as if they could just be playing along to their recordings. They’re flawless. The guitars sound great together, you rarely (if ever) catch Tobias singing slightly flat, they’re just an amazing band.
@@btoal2001 he just forgets the lyrics sometimes but he doesnt have a lyrics screen because he moves around a lot. but he only does this on some of the newer songs

I had the pleasure of attending this concert and as with the previous ones I have attended it was phenomenal. I met Papa III at a meet and greet in Philadelphia in 2017 and can say that Tobias appreciates his fans and is very humble. I'm excited to see them in August in Camden, NJ of all days on my birthday!!!

I’ve been looking around RUclips for a good quality recording of a full show, and I believe this one is the best. Also, it’s very interesting to see how Tobias changes his set list from city to city based on what is popular on the internet (Mary on a Cross lately). He’s a legitimate genius.
Just came back from seeing Ghost in Laval. The concert was fucking awesome! Only disappointment is they played Griftwood instead of He Is. Also thank you for your ear plug recommendation. I went to see Scorpions few weeks ago in Montreal and couldn't hear well for 2 days with my ears buzzing/ringing. With those, I hear normally after Ghost.
I've used both the EarGasms and the HearProteks. They both do their jobs well. You need them if you're going to go to loud shows. Your ear drums will thank you down the road.

Eine wirklich hervoragende Liveband. Und weil man eben nicht weiss wer die Musiker sind macht es diese Band so interessant. Fakt ist,man rätselt wer hinter dem Helm steckt. Durch die Bekleidung sind eventuelle Tattoos verdeckt um bekannte Musiker zu entdecken. Tobias und seine Geister begeistern jedenfalls jung und alt und sorgen für jede Menge Spaß. Und die Duelle zwischen den Gitarristen sind einfach der Bringer. Ghost sind eine der bestenRockbands momentan. Optisch wie musikalisch gesehen. Sie begeistern Heavys als auch Freunde des normalen Rocks. Und das alles ohne Skandale. Hut ab und ich wünsche der Bande um Tobias alles nur erdenklich Gute.

I completely agree with this - it was flawless apart from not getting to hear He Is live. Place Bell is pretty good for an arena-sized venue too!
