When this came out on DVD I had just gotten a 5.1 Dolby surround sound system and this was hands down my favorite movie to utilize the amazing sound quality. The scene where Brian is weaving through traffic to Ludacris’s “Act A Fool” was my first experience with ASMR lol. Just can’t get enough
Thank You man. And IMO, I fell in love with the car because of how it looked, sounded and performed in the movie so the stripes were pretty awesome. (I was around 5 years old at the time) and guess what, i still love the movie look. [Your look of the car was also pretty damn awesome]
And those people who didn't like the movie and cars are either eating their words or living with heavy regret considering how iconic these cars are now.
I remember seeing the yellow stunt car up for sale on Craigslist. It was listed for $75,000 and had probably the most descriptive Craigslist post I've ever seen in my life. Learned a lot just from that post. I don't remember what area it was in.
i think it was located somewhere louisiana at the time. I could be wrong tho
@ 3:52 Living in Europe where no tuning car has graphics ever (especially in the 2000's). The GT-R's graphics don't look out of place. I really like the GT-R's graphics ....my favourite f the series :)... If I grew up in USA tuner scene, would likely see things different though
It sounds like you really know what cars should've been in the movies and how they should've been presented. Please make a car movie for us enthusiasts.
Can u do a video on the prelude “how Brian got his skyline”
Manuel Ruiz Checkout Craig’s Instagram page, he posted info of those cars
It's on the film
Can you look at his channel before asking questions?
Alexander Butler fuck u
@@glocky1999 fuck yourself you lazy twat. Craig already explained almost everything at this point. Invest some time before asking stupid questions. And what else can be explained about the prelude?
That’s crazy, 2F2F is my favorite from the franchise
I loved the striped design of the silver Skyline GTR. Hell it's inspired me to do the same for a modern 2017 Nissan GTR model'/!!!
Lol I understand the disgust at the car cosmetics but back in the day that stuff was super cool and to this day still is to some people. The skyline looked like something you could create in a videogame which is why fans loved it
Another awesome video, and congrats on 40K subscribers Craig, I subbed when you had about a thousand. By the was I can remember seeing 2F2F in theaters, I saw 2F2F then snuck into Bad Boys 2, both Miami based movies lol
You handled it well . especially being 2000s and the bodykit slight drop era
Those stripes is now the most iconic livery in every game
These movies are the reason why i´m owning a R33 GTR now :) Thank you for your work!
LMFAO ... now we know the truth about the stripes!
@MetalHeadZ Ug33k
I remember being 16 with my delsol in the movie theater parking lot having sound offs and burnout contests before the premiere of 2F2F...I liked the movie...or I wanted too...
The amount of attention to detail and money going into the GTRs for seconds, if any, screen time. Mad!
Can you do Mia's 4dr integra from the 1st movie it didn't get much screen time
Robert Alicea He posted some info on his Instagram page
It’s amazing that Craig remembers all small details about everything
I always wondered why the nitrous tanks looked dusty. Just CF.
Also, the Millennium Jade GTR from the 2F2F Prelude. Where did that one come from?
One more is when was Blackbird in Oregon? I used to hear about a black GTR from some older guys at shows, and I'm guessing it was yours.
I couldn't help but sing in my mind after I heard west coast custom "You gotta pimp my rideeeee".
those lights made it look better..
I saw one of the movie GT-Rs at Universal Studios about 17 years ago. First R34 I ever saw in person.
I enjoy that you say "motion picture" like you're in the 30's lol
Joshua Elsner at least he doesn’t say “moving pictures” or “talkies”.
When this car showed up on the screen I was pumped. Then I'm looking at the stripes and the side panel paint and I'm like WTF. I'm with you io the stripes Craig. Great video
Damn $78,000 in 2001 was definitely a lot of money.
