Janelle buenas noches. After years of knowing about this parfum, I finally tried an inspired version. I can understand the BKR reference. It is light and a sweet-woody on skin, thus far, a skin scent. I will allow it to macerated and revisit. :) I enjoy the underlying sweetness but I cheated as I used a vanilla oil from CocoPink as a base ;)
This one I never got around to appreciating! I just tried one from Sugar Works, an interpretation of LV California Dream and it has the best clean Musk in the dry down!! It's called Pink Cali Dreams!!!🩷
TF oud wood is my signature, but its neck and neck with thameen carved oud, thameen is a wow thats smooth scent. i catch myself spraying my cloths all the time with the TF oud wood, i absolutely love it as a 55 yr old male. it fits my personality perfectly.
have you tried Gucci Bloom Nettare Di Fiori??? I tried it yesterday and did NOT like it, and now I love it on my skin. I tried My Way on the left wrist, and WEIRDLY I tried The One FOR MEN!!! EDT and I'm in love. Sounds so weird right, but it was at the store and looked pink, so it was an accident, and I absolutely love it. So did my son! on me!! All of this started because my friend bought Bergamote 22. I love it so much on her, after she bought it, just that night. But the next time I saw her she had it on all day at school and I couldn't smell a thing. For that much money, it should have more than five hours of staying power, IMO. So I am searching for similar notes, and that's how I got the My Way, and then the Bloom, was just there... Also the Romance Parfum is good too. All of those were my last night's adventure at Sephora.

And once I did this (not that I haven't tried my husband's Savauge before), but once I did it she said that's what she buy's her father-in-law and loves it so much she wishes she didn't do that because she would like her husband to try it. But when I called the store later to be sure I tried on the men's because the bottle is clear and the EDT appeared pink (and it should be amber) she confirmed it just looked that way in the store lighting, and she's going to try it now too on her skin! The Gucci Bloom Intense is also very nice, they are still on next to each other on my arm and I really can't decide. But I can get a much better deal on the For One. But all this started because of Bergamote 22... The orange fruit note with the florals and I went off again in a new search.
Hey Janelle, I’m a day late because I’ve been so busy! I really hate when you buy higher end fragrances and they don’t last long or project well! But you cannot say that about BR540🥵. It’s my second most favorite scent and that baby lasts for daysss and projects very well lol. Also, Sí Fiori arrived today and I’ve been testing her out all day! The first spray smelled like the original Sí to me. Then it mellowed out to a creamy black currant ice cream. And the dry down was a sweet powdery strawberry scent. Funny how everyone got strawberry milkshake and I got black currant 🤣 but man I’m loving this perfume! I’m definitely purchasing a big bottle of this beauty. She is classy and feminine! I sprayed her around 4pm and she’s still going strong lol. Thank you so much for my gift💗. I appreciate it so much!

Good Morning Janelle! I have not heard of AnOther 13. I've seen many people on you tube say they did not like "Juliette has a gun, not a perfume". I personally have never smelled it, but the reviews I have seen have not been good. Vanilla44 sounds interesting or Bergamote 22. Have a wonderful Day!! Thanks for sharing!!
Good Morning! The Iso E super molecular Fragrances are pretty much meant to be layered with other Fragrances. I'm not the biggest fan though. I love Vanille 44! We'll see how the others go 🤗
@@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset i over shot the run way, i was heading out to the gym, and couldnt resist a full squeeze, and by the time i got to the gym 30 min later it hadnt faded at all, as extraits do, lol. i suffered as well as the two exercisers next to me. I wont be doing that again.

I did get a sample of another 13 and I do have a hard time smelling it. Maybe getting the oil would help with the performance. I recently fell in love with santal 33 after getting a sample and wearing it for the first time! Did you like oil perfumery santal 33?

was it you who mentioned imaaginary aruthors tresspassers? i hated it at first, and then the usual happens, i spray it in passing cause im bored, and by night time i catch a wiff of something that ive never smelled that smells interesting, and low and behold its the IA, so since then i been testing it and to my surprise my nose is aclimating to it lol. kinda glad cause the bottle was 90 bucks lol its such an odd sharp almost cedar scent.
I believe so, we reviewed IA for a week and it was a pass for me unfortunately, but that's interesting that you're adapting to it! I just had this experience with Kilian's Angel's Share!
They sure do, I have yet to feature at least 6 other dupe houses I know of. There sure are more Perfumes out there than there is time to test them all.

i keep debating ebk ruby and vanilla lol its so dam expensive, but the scent may be a tad too polished for me,, but again, on cloths the next day, iam intoxicated with how it smells the next day on cloths ive worn lol, its so funny, i crack myself up sometimes picking up cloths to see what is on what lol

Thank you, I try and give my own experiences while making sure to describe as objectively as possible how the Fragrances smell. Oohh, for eau duelle, the EDP is more potent, but it also has different notes. To me it is in the same dry woodsy vanilla family as van Cleef & arpels Orchidee Vanille, Le Labo Vanille 44 and Caldo Gourmand. Very nice. 🙌
This is an odd one. upon first spray i like it, a few hours later i catch wafts of thick fragrance coming and going. But if i spray it on my neck, the next day on my jacket, in an office atmosphere iam chasing a scent around like a puppy dog, i dont know how it turns into this sexy manly aroma iam compelled to follow around. Luckily it was coming from my own jacket lol. I had a hour drive home, so i kept my jacket in my lap and it didnt smell quite like it did an hour ago, i was so confused lol, its so weird. But this may be my top 3
You're the second person recently to mention they can smell this very strongly. I tried to smell this one, but guess I'm anosmic to the ambroxan 🤷♀️ I broke my sample, but I'm interested in revisiting now!
It is absolutely a scent where you forget about it and then you move and get a whiff and are like what smells so good and you realize it is Another 13. I think in this video it is disappointing the sprayer was broken. I don't think the "dabbing" gives the accurate experience of the frangrance.
No worries! It was a total struggle trying to find a rhythm at the beginning and I'm not gonna lie, sometimes it still takes me some time to get to the meat of the review, but I try to add timestamps when that happens. Thanks!

i just got bdk gris charnel, and whoa! black tie for sure, wore it to the gym yesterday and i think i was projecting like crazy on the treadmill lol.
