I played baseball for 22 years, from little league all the way through college, and my coaches always stressed how important stretching is. I'll sometimes get made fun of for how much time I spend stretching before each round. I'm glad to see a top pro release their stretching routine. Maybe now more people will start to do it and realize how beneficial stretching really is to the body.
Had the pleasure of meeting you at Hula this year! So fun to see your dg totem and lil discs to match. Its awesome to see you play but equally awesome to see you enjoying life! Happy Huladays!
This is great, I see far too many disc golfers hop out of the cars and just start throwing. I used to be one of those people, but as I've gotten older I've realized I need to be much more proactive about warming up and getting loose before throwing.
I've been doing the disc golf strong warmup for over a year now, I don't throw without doing it anymore, you feel better from the first hole to the last.
As the guy wearing the dope Paige Pierce hat she calls out, I can't believe that was in this video. Hahaha! Thanks for having such awesome looking swag! 🔥🔥🤣🤣
I really liked this format where your coach became our coach, too, for a moment! My usual warmup is hitting first available on the 1st eight or nine holes; thinking maybe your way is more effective.
Paige, do you feel like the little taps on your arm help strengthen your shoulder stabilizer muscles? I've had a number of shoulder injuries and am always looking for something to help my shoulder strength.
Making sure that the weight transfer is first pushing off with the left leg to engage the hips to rotate and then finally stepping through with the plant leg!
What's your waiting routine like? You know when your waiting to tee off on say #5, because the course is backed up? A guy told me once that a tournament he was in was so backed up, they were waiting 20-40 minutes on each hole.
It depends on the course usually! Most times it’s not too bad, maybe about 5-10 minutes on some holes. But it can get to 30 mins or more! The tour is trying to add time in between tee times so we don’t have to wait as long.
For anyone who wants it.

It’s soooooo important. The looser your body feels the better you throw too 👏
Exactly. If I don't stretch and warm up first, I'm feeling it for the next few days.

I needed this.

I love it. Getting those muscles activated and ready to go. Love the content paige
It’s so important to do to avoid injuries out on the course!
@@paigepiercediscgolf I definitely agree..
Seth is the best. Plays a mean ukulele too . . .
Good video, thank you.
Let me know which exercises are your favorites!

This is great to see. When you have time to throw, do you throw just to warm up or are you checking your timing and power?
A little bit of both actually. A lot of it is figuring out release angles too- and making sure my discs are flying how I want them to in the wind!
Cam: How's my hair?
Mitch: Strong... real strong! (Disc Golf Strong)
How long have you been doing this warm up routine?
Yesterday I got my 3rd ace I posted it on my channel
Sick, congrats!! 🥳
What does he mean by pushing off with the left leg and not stepping with the leading leg?

@@paigepiercediscgolf I don't think I do this well. Do you have any tips on practicing this into my form? Thanks a lot for the response btw!

Now that you don't care if you win or lose you can warm up more often.
Ok
This dosent work for me, I don´t have a guy like that ??
That’s why I made the video, so you can see how to perform the exercises!
