    Adriana Gonzales is a phenomenal singer, who belongs to the Musical Olympus Family since a couple of years. Adriana has already performed at a variety of different Musical Olympus concerts in St.Petersburg, Zurich and Klosters. In this interview we talk to Adriana about her life as a singer and growing up in Guatemala. She also tells us more about how she explores the correct body allignment and technique for singers and how she shares this knowledge with a number of people across her social media channels.     BIO Adriana Gonzales
    Adriana Gonzalez is one of the most prominent guatemalan singers of her generation. This last summer Adriana won 1st prize at the 2019 Placido Domingo Operalia Competition and the Pepita Embil Zarzuela Prize in Prague.

    Some of her upcoming projects include Micaëla - Opernhaus Zürich, Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) & Suor Genovieffa (Suor Angelica) - Tokyo Spring Festival and Contessa (LeNozze di Figaro) - Opéra National de Lorraine.

    Also as an Audax Records Artist, Adriana will release her first album along side conductor / pianist Iñaki Encina Oyón.
    Adriana was born in Guatemala in 1991 and becomes the first musician of her family. In 2009, she receives the New Upcoming Artist Award by the Hemeroteca Nacional de Guatemala.
    After completing her studies at the Universidad del Valle, she is invited to be a member of the Opéra national de Paris opera studio, where she sang the roles of Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Despina (Così fan tutte), Sapho et Iphise (Les Fêtes d’Hébé). Before finishing the studio in Paris she received the Prix Lyrique 2017 du Cercle Carpeaux.

    In 2016 she wins 1st prize at the Otto Edelmann Competition, as well as the Oper Burg Gars Prize, awarding her the role of Pamina (Die Zauberflöte). In 2017 she is awarded 2nd prize at the Concurso Francisco Viñas at the Grand Teatre del Liceu, where a year later she debuts Corinna (Il Viaggio a Reims).

    Adriana was also part of the IOS at the Opernhaus Zürich singing roles like Erste Blumenmädchen (Parsifal). Gonzalez will return to Zürich in 2019-2020 to sing Micaëla (Carmen).
    Adriana Gonzales and Musical Olympus unites a long collaborative spirit. In 2017
    Adriana performed at the Musical Olympus Festival in Saint Petersburg for the first time. Shortly after she has been re invited by the Friends Musical Olympus for performances in Zurich and Klosters.
