I almost bought a vendor pass for the shows but I saw what was coming and thought I’d skip the show. Pretty cool to see it all doing it’s purpose. Thanks for the video
Excellent footage, especially drone footage to give birds eye view of the following day of what remained AFTER the worst of the storm hit. The close ups give an idea of just how deep it was the following day in places. Well done. !
Rocky Butte, near Hearst Castle, got almost 14 inches of rain out of this event! I'm in Ojai and our back country got almost 10". Our diversion canal put over 1000 acre feet of water into Lake Casitas in three days. Not too bad for December! 👍 enjoy the desert!
Hey Paul. In my limited experience this was a fairly mild storm so water not that deep. Keep in mind it was a few hours after it stopped raining. There have been cases where people and vehicles have been washed away. I know a fellow who’s truck was washed away with him in it. Finally stopped miles away. People have died as well.
Great view. Buy some fake gold and get in the wash with a frying pan. Then start jumping around and claim you hit a big strike! You might have to leave town when the crew learns the truth haha.
Great shots. Thank you
Thanks for watching!

Next time I guess. But right now the water is all but gone and the show hasn't even started yet. :)

Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching and the kind words. :)

Cool footage! glad to see you are safe.
Thank you for watching. 🙂
Awesome video! Cool music! Well done!
Thank you.
glad you guys are all ok 💞
Oh yeah. The rain was welcomed as it helps to keep the dust down for a bit. ❤️🙂
Wow, Amazing. Hope everyone is doing ok and not flooded out.
Everyone we know is good. The rain has settled the dust down for a few days so it’s nice.
We had a rain in Quartzite and gold was allover..Piedmont. .
This may be a stupid question but how deep is the water ( 1 -2 feet max ) ? Any fear of animals / people drowning ?

@@Wayneontheroad Ok, don’t mess with Mother Nature! 😊
What's the range on your Droid
In perfect conditions with no break in connectivity it's rated at 10 KMs. I've had it over half that out over the Canso islands in Nova Scotia once.
Where does the water go?
As far as I know it flows until it meets an actual river/lake or disperses into drier ground.
@@Wayneontheroad just curious as the Colorado River is about 30 miles away.
Tyson Wash flows north about 8 miles past Quartzsite, then turns west across the reservation and into the Colorado River.
@@silverbob8656 thanks for the info
Thanks for that info Bob, @@silverbob8656
