"I really would be way more pro-marriage, if we lived in a culture that normalized getting out of bad ones." Ah! the Joshi Kaka we need in our societies.

So I have this one guideline in life - watch/listen to ANY podcast that features Rohan Joshi. What a lovely gem of a human being. SO much wisdom, empathy, and grace in his words.
Thank you for bringing him, Priyam. I was feeling very shitty when I woke up today. But now I feel a little less shitty. And that coral colour top looks beautiful on you. 🥰
If I may, IMO the purpose of life is to bring as much comfort into your life as possible. It could be anything - a book, a food item, a vacation, a movie, anything. Jordan Peterson once said in one of his lectures that 'all our lives are tragedies', and as melodramatic as it sounds, he is not wrong. There are so many things we don't like. But we still have to do. There are so many things we go through. But we just endure.
To the point that we forget what it is that we really want. SO how about this idea - I will suffer for something that I really really want. And for all the other things, I will try to bring as much comfort/ease into my life as I possibly can.
One of the biggest lessons that life has taught me is that there is no shame in having things easy, and there is absolutely no medal in having things difficult.
And that brings us to the end of my TED Talk. 🤗

Rohan is the kind of person you really need. He makes me want to live with nuances and let things be along with questioning them simultaneously and respect my efforts and decisions

I dont understand how people can casually say that they are suffering from existential crisis and also be so cool about it.
I think i am also suffering from same but its everyday life is usually difficult and so annoying.
Hence, i mosty indulge in reading books, watching movies/tv series, play games and make some
    Music.

I enjoyed this podcast thoroughly, Rohan is personally one of my fav comedians. I just love his take on marriage!! I am in my mid 30s and now married with 2 kids. I am married because I chose to get married but they me in my mid 20s I got so much shit from my relatives on how I am aging and mera window band hone wala hai looool. Thank you 💯
