Thanks you so much for this new remarkable video from Helsinki,Finland to shows these great places around the city with its peoples, restaurants, buildings, etc. in 2023❤❤❤
Really love this video! Straight the the point and gives you all the landmarks. None of the fluff that a lot of "things to do" videos say like "Try the food!" or "Go for a coffee/wine tasting!" which is just stuff you can say for any city lol
Not Russian influence but German. Ruler in Finland way back in the day was supposed to come from Germany which didn’t happen and most of the buildings around the Esplanadi and the President’s resident is designed by a German architect Carl Ludwig Engel.
Great job, but Nikolsky Cathedral is not named after Tsar Nicholas I, the cathedral cannot be named after a secular person at all, the Cathedral is named after St. Nicholas.
Where do you see Russian influence as I don't see any? Also Suomenlinna was build by Finns themselves and moreover Finns have always been occupying their country even during the Swedish and Russian occupation.
Martijn u only love my message but u didn't say anything about it pls. If u will be willing to take me to tour then i need to contact u so we can talk pls
Russian influence? And is that supposed to be a good thing? Finland is a Nordic European country Russia is an asian country, there are zero Russian influences in Finland.
Finland has been a Russian colony from 1809 till 1917. So there is Russian influence in the architecture of Helsinki. Not as a good or a bad thing. Only as a fact.
@@ElrosTar-MinyaturTrue, but it is very little. Everywhere you travel in Finland you can see it is a very Nordic country. Finland was directly a part of Sweden almost 700 years. After an autonomious Grand Duchy of Russia's Empire of tsar 100 years. Swedish retained as an official language. Also swedish laws. Finland had own currency, own post office etc. and russian ppl had to have a permission to visit Finland. That is why Russia 's influence is very minimal in Finland.
Perfect vid, even if you hadn’t included that hidden gem of a beach (which I just went to on my visit) I would’ve instantly liked the vid
Thank you!
Amazing. I’ve been twice and I loved it.
❤️

By the way Russia is partly in Europe.
WTF?! Finland don't exist for start...
What?
Either you're joking, or you believe in the conspiracy theory which originated as a joke.
