when the bass are on their nests, I like to use a plastic/rubber salamander (Okra body with red spots) rigged much the same. They will attack the bait like it owes them money.
It would be nice if someone put the links to the bait and the hooks on the description. Makes them much easier to find. Looking through page after page of hooks does me no good at all.
