Hi Anya. A tip. When you do something in the round, sart on a corner. You will get a unvisible start and finish.

Hi Anya, this is a lovely different idea to the other one you did. I can't wait to try it !!!! am still doing my big granny square blanket. How are you getting on with yours ? Very windy today here, my husband may not fish at the canal we will still go, , but I will be crocheting!! Take care.

Slip stitch to the chain 2sp to remove the chain 2 seam in the pattern n start the rounds from the corner 😀

I'll hafta figger a way t' hide my seam better'n that. That do'n't set well with me, seein' it.
I think I'll just start m' next rows here-n-there with a pulled-thru loop and a standing stitch (if I've got the name right for that). I can't stand seams!

I'm confused by the number of stitches at the end of the back loop round. After round 8 there are 116 stitches plus 2 chains in each corner. If you do a half double crochet into these 2 chains as well there will be 124 stitches and the sides will splay out. Please clarify.

you have to add stitches in the corners...
