- OHIO is a brand new USN tier 10 BB that's coming to WoWS and it's essentially a tier 10 Georgia. It has 4x2 457mm guns with 11,3km secondaries (IFHE), good AA and tanky.

today, as usual, I played my favorite game - the world of ships. his favorite guard your ship, the ship's captain Vsevolod Kozhedub the rank of Lieutenant. so she went into battle. I put the fog on first. near the island. to make it easier to see opponents. then. my fog fits 1 destroyer . Cruiser 1 and I managed to sink them with my torpedoes. then I turned the ship around. and sailed through point. then at the Islands, I saw floating on my battleship.1 by this time I have already smokes recovered. I smoked again. hid so, to me battleship 1 . not see. I torpedoed him. and drown too. when captured point helped the allies. then I came back. this is where the Capture point is. and there was a battleship.1 . this ship was hard to penetrate with ordinary ones . shells. fire torpedoes at him. and I very much damage inflicted. Yes, I managed to drown. great success. and it turns out, I sank 5 I've never been able to drown the ship of ships in the 1st fight. record your result. fight's. It would take more than a Georgia with a Montana hull to motivate me to regrind the entire American BB line in the current meta. That would be Fa King hell. I know WG wants the topped out paying base back on the profitable progression model to generate income and retention but there has to be a better way than repetitive content regrind.
Agree: first WoWs needs to attract more players (somehow). Second I still play lower tiers, t 10 can get very predictable. Don't want to regrind but if it's part of my day in day out play not so bad.
honestly imo the american battleships arent too bad the accuracy is good unless youre talking about the New mexico. i feel like that thing cant hit the broadside of barn. but they are slow as fuck tho i will say that till T8

@@grimmshredsanguinus2915 the problem i have with Musashi is his mobility, especially in 6v6 games, when you need to quickly change your tactics. JB is more "elastic", and gun reload booster with speed booster makes it killer ship. Even in situation 1v1 against Musashi... you will have that one salvo to kill me, but after (if I survive) you are dead. But this is my opinion. Everyone should play the ship they feel most comfortable with.

Ok so 8 monstrous guns that are very accurate. So can we please buff the German BB line accuracy by a little? When now we have 457mm that are laser accueate there is no excuse to have the 380mm missing a broadside target under 8 km
Especially since the KM was famous for its extreme accuracy, the accuracy is the entire reason they put smaller guns on their BBs anyway
@@TheTeremaster Not the first time i raed about this but after researching it i got mixed results. Not saying its not true and rhe logic makes sense but i am not 100% certain of this.
In any case the smallest guns with the worse penetration and by far the worse accuracy all on the same is a bit much.
The Soviet BB are insane, mega penetration and stupid accuracy, i regularly eat 30k~40k salvo from any of them when i play my German BB.

@@beratna4660 Are you him? He took his faster more maneuverable Cruiser and got in front of a slower less maneurvable BB why? So he could duck behind the mountains and spend the whole match out of trouble and at full hp... landing himself a nice cozy 3rd from last place.

Slava= 214 m dispertion, 1,9 sigma, it's an abomination. Ohio= 206m dispertion 1,9 sigma,it's Monday.
Slava's max dispersion is at 26km range, Ohio's is at 21 km range

honestly, looking at RU, USN and French premiums, I keep wondering why WG does not give the Germans and IJN the same type of treatment with some stronger ships better for the meta XD

So you need to distract people with shiny new stuff to cover for all the broken and unbalanced shit already in the game ... cough cough WarThunder cough cough ...
It doesn't make the game fresh, just distracts players from the fact that the game is stale and/or rotten at it's core.

@Tyler Moore indeed, german bbs are brawlers. dont worry, i play german bbs as they are intended to be used. still, weakest bb-line in straight up comparison nowadays.
@Tyler Moore stop calling german naval ships "Nazi", they were far more human than any other navy at that time and most of their staff wasn't even in the NSDAP.
@@Weste88 not really, if you know what youre doing against montanas and yamatos you will out damage them salvo per salvo as well as turtleback and good ass secondaries with nearly no equal
Why not just giving the Montana the option to use these 457mm guns? :P
Because that way you can't milk the playerbase for prem time by making them grind the same tech tree 3 times.

@@Hproawesome I prefer my GK over this Ohio any day for pushing. Asashio not so scary , you cant get lol penned in nose from 460mm , sonar saves you where Ohio would kiss bottom of sea not to mention "lack of citadel" when you end up in crossfire (happens if you push right ?).
Lets not forget that GK even without IFHE pens more than Ohio secondaries will ever - 152mms alone pen 37mm pre IFHE.
I'm not saying GK is flawless but this ship is way better than people think. It just sadly only shine in smaller games (in ranked i had avg of 150k in it) - it's basically as any other pushing ship if gets too much focus it goes down (ok Kremlin may be exception). And if you dont push you are ... not doing much.
Ohio just like Georgia won't be impactful at all ... yeah so here is replay with over 200k ... impressive - not.
Still only 8 guns that cant even pen angled BB with not so short reload.
Not to mention that if he goes IFHE/AFT he gives up a lot of other perks, where GK 2ndaries still rock without IFHE.

I'd also love an Enterprise and Belfast, but hey they were removed too and they let people keep them. They should have removed all OP ships completely and compensated the players that lost them, or left them in and nerfed them. I don't care if the three above mentioned ships were in the same league as Ark Royal, I'd still get them but I can't and it annoys the fuck out of me.
Also take great exception to the whole Steel limited ships or ships that are only available to the top 1% of players, because they clearly need more of an edge over the common folk, but that's a different story.

As someone who wanted graf before she got removed, she is in an insanely sad state for a CV and I hope they buff the shit out of her. She should not be as broken as she was in RTS, but she should be closer to broken than absolute shit.

The Ohio is how a battleship should be in WoWs, tanky packs a punch good accuracy when you get in about 15km and allows aggressive play, right now only tier 10 that fits that bill is the Kremlin.
ironhammer500 yet the whole player base is saying that it’s OP....well if you play how the ship is meant to be played then it’s really strong. I haven’t been paying much attention on the new lines but from what I hear is that Russian BBs are a little too strong.
What’s really OP is the Stalingrad and when the Pobeda was first introduced as WiP.

The ship is good , but its not worth resetting 4 lines to get it. If you check the price for it in exp and credits it becomess the most expensive ship in the game - therefore it has to be OP otherwise its a joke.
I'm glad WG is coming out with a competitive US battleship. I reset my US battleship line because the whole line is pathetic in today's meta. No hydro, lousy secondaries, no radar (MO doesn't count). These ships have needed buffs for ages and they did nothing to improve them while other lines were introduced with larger ordinance and all the bells and whistles.
