- The Lorraine 40t in War Thunder is one of the most expensive medium tanks in the game. At 14k Silver Lions, this is a pricey tank to play but even though it started at 6.7 and is now 7.7 BR... it's still a very potent machine.
The Lorraine 40t is a super quick, highly mobile platform with a 100mm gun that has a 4 second reload by assistance of an auto-loader. It can hurl 8 shots in less than a minute and with almost 300mm of penetration, there aren't many tanks that can take its continued abuse.
The F4U-7 Corsair is also equipped with 114 SNEB rockets which makes it one of the most effective CAS aircraft in the entire game. The 20mm aren't just good at taking out other air craft, but they can dispatch lighter ground targets as well.

@@saltybeard5749 don't expert everything just expert the vehicles that you use the most. I got 8 million from just doing that over the past month or 2.
If I had games like these even like once a week in this thing I would be so much happier playing my favorite tree.

I use low rank premium vehicles to grind SL coz high BR is just annoying and not fun. Even mid tier BR isnt too fun anymore
I've had the Hurricane Mk 4 for five days and today I got my first ground kill with it and people consistently get games like this

Wow that was really nice to watch and its weird that the tank has wheels in the track
so it can road without tracks, in order to not repair them, and continue fighting

Can you please try USA 3.7 lineup. It has M10 GMC, M4A1 Sherman, M4 Sherman, M24 Chaffee and F6F-5 for CAS. U can also use p51 or other fighter to clear enemy planes. This is my personal favorite lineup and its very effective. Attempt #1

Use Rocket salvo for the Snebs on the F4U7 because one tap creates a 6 line of rockets which will 1 do more damage and you will kill them in 1 tap and you have larger surface area! Great Vid tho! 👍

I really love running the Loraine. It's so fast firing and so easy to maneuver.
It's alot of fun to toss really angry Croissants half way across a map and still get kills.

i think that in 2022 the repair cost is fixed for the loraine 40t and the f4u-7’s repair cost has been lowered.
I have to ask why do you almost never replenish your crew in your tanks? Surely it is worth it to get them back again

The Kursk map (Prochorovka), like most maps in War Thunder, are historically almost accurate ... and if the matches were as well, you would have mostly Panzer IVs and T-34s fighting there, some Panthers Tigers and KVs and the occasional lend/lease tank, and thats it. No modern things or even Tiger II´s or Jagpanthers or IS ... though Ferdinands could be possible, if they do not break down on the way
What's your current personal favourite nation to use? When I started this game a few years ago, I rushed down the German tree as most people did, and now that I'm looking into getting back into the game, I'm not certain which nation would be worth the limited time I have. I've basically gotta relearn the entire game again.
USA, Germany and Russia have the most competitive tech trees from 1.0-10.7 so I'd stick to those. There are some really nice tanks and planes in all nations (except China) but there are some black hole battle ratings for them all.
Frances solid shot does not treat me the best, but I love playing French tanks.

i do like the Lorraine and the Amx 30 in the 7.7 lineup, but its a real dichotomy. One game youll be running about bullying poor ww2 era germans and then the next you will be facing fully stabilized and faster TAMs and Leo A1A1s that make engagements really hard unless you manage to get lucky and outflank

6:40 WoT is on the other end of the spectrum of map design. War thunder has way too open maps with only little protection when respawning, while WoT has a few open maps but the rest is just corridor fighting. So light tanks have become just useless really
It's also tied with the fact that you can't choose tank depending on the map (understandably, cause then balance would be impossible, with 0 respawns). When you have a light tank on a tight city map, you're boned, as you are when you have a blind heavy on an open map.

TBH odd the reason WOT is more popular is because its been around longer... WOT still has map exploits, which in my opinion are worse then War Thunders. Anyway what I'm trying to say is after grinding up to tier 9 on wot,I would much rather prefer war thunder.
You are not interpreting what I’m saying properly. I mean the overall layout of maps. Such as lanes, outlooks and flanks. Meanwhile, fire arc is just a big open hill with some bushes and cover in the middle that give full advantage to defenders.
@@OddBawZ True, I would still prefer War Thunder though. I like how they added aircraft into the battles it adds more excitement then WOT in my opinion. You and Phly should do some top tier jets :)

There's also very little disadvantage for console controllers on WOT.
War Thunder need to remove repair cost and Ammo Cost and make it all free, we should only be paying lions for unlocking tanks.

as an old world of tanks player the maps are also fairly unbalanced over there and the vehicle balance is ridiculous the maps on warthunder have different issues but thats cos of the different style of tank game it is and at least in warthunder you will be able to get some kills world of tanks you can get killed just cos you cant see someone just like in WT
