I can’t believe this was 6 years ago! The bay water & the mulberry Del Rey are coming back in style this year but I think the bay water is more timeless & kind of hermes-esque

I've had both and sold the Alexa as it was too slouchy and personally felt it looked 'untidy' if that makes sense, and she is spot on with regards the base shaper for the Bay. Like she said, personal preference and I prefer a bag that has stud feet to protect it and doesn't 'collapse' if placed on the floor. So I've got a small Bay Satchel in Grainy Patent, this leather is very user friendly, and just ordered a new Bayswater in Oxblood. I think leather choice should be a real consideration. It's taken me a few years to find what I'm happy using rather than buying one and then being too frightened to use it so then sell! Thanks for the video.

It's such a hard choice when investing in a bag as you really have to use a bag to see how comfortable it is and how it will work for you. I totally agree the leather is much nicer quality on the Bayswater! The oxblood colour is amazing, I love the look of it! Both beautiful bags, but have to say the Bayswater is Mulberry's classic x
If to long, You can shorten the strap by having a shoe repair shop make another hole in I did that and it's perfect now ! Agree the Bayswater is very very very heavy I use less because of the weight :( shame as I love it ,.. the Antony is a dream to wear daily,.. x

I sold my Bayswater because she was just too heavy on my London commute.I had two regular Lily’s and sold them too because I never wore them after I bought my Chanel Reissue. The Alexa is hands down my favourite Mulberry handbag. I need the oversized Alexa in my collection.

The bayswater is pretty heavy. I rarely use mine due to the weight.

Great video! The lock on the newer Bayswater is actually "spring" operated- so just pull the lock down and it will open!

Is the leather still the same as it was as someone says they changed it and it’s stiff in the Bayswater
I find the Alexa with too many details. Bayswater is cleaner

Nina Jen It's been discontinued. You might be able to buy a pre-loved one from a reseller, although check the authenticity.
it occasionally comes up on the mulberry website when there's a sale there was a lovely blue one that quickly sold out.
