Great video. Music almost drowns out commentary.

Yeah the music destroys it. It's not a great video.

Excellent content, beautifuly shot and well presented. But please drop the music, it's killing the video. No music and clock sounds would have been prefectly enough. Still, thumbs up and thank you for the video!

I'm a little disappointed about the lack of info about their "direct read" clocks that told the time in illuminated fashion, with numerals shown. I.I.N.M., such clocks were atop their buildings at the original 590 Madison Avenue in New York from the mid-1950's to that building's demolition in 1968, and at 616 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago where they would be in that city until the construction and opening of One IBM Plaza in the early 1970's; plus, the original jump clock of the MONY Building (now known by its address of 1740 Broadway) and the time display that was part of the huge Bond Clothes "spectacular" atop their Times Square store from 1948 to 1954.

I've ALWAYS been fascinated by master and slave clock systems. As a little kid, I would always ask the school engineer questions about the large electromechanical clock that took up a ton of space in the office. Apparently, he didn't mind (thank God, I always asked too many questions😂)...

    Hi Dave
I have an international 685-5 and can’t seem to find out much about it. It is missing the transformer. Can you direct me to more information about this clock? Was the transformer a multi-tap as this clock has one coil that says 24 volts and another that says 18 volts.
    Thank you for any help!

What model is the clock at 1:25 on the left? I have one identical to it but with a brass pendulum.

I have what appears to be a gen 4 master clock. Hasn’t been run in years. What do I need to know in order to get it working?

If you have a 'weight driven' clock, check out these videos:
      ruclips.net/video/Sb68YyzkVhU/видео.html
      ruclips.net/video/nLyBTgdFrrI/видео.html
If you don't have weights (11lb each, 2x) then you have a spring driven and this video may help you get started:

      Good luck!
