- Carrot cake
400 g carrots
1 pinch Salt
1 tspborange peel
200 g ground almonds
200 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
4 eggs (size M)
250 g Sugar
100 ml sunflower oil
Bake on 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes

Happy New Year!! That cake looks awesome, btw carrot cake is my favorite. The winds sounded so cold outside, it reminds me of the movie from 1965 called Doctor Zhivago about the Soviet Union during WW1, it was actually filmed for the most part in Spain because the USSR wouldn't allow it to be filmed there, they even banned to book and the movie in the Soviet Union. It was my late husbands favorite movie of all time and one that I too enjoy it is a love story but so much more, if you haven't seen it would recommend it highly, or if you like to read as I do from time to time you could always read the book and from my experience the book is always better than the movies. We're doing wax pouring in Poland! but one must have an old key, to pour it through the key hole. We're doing it on the night from 29th to 30th of Novemer, it's called St Andrews Day. And whatever the shape is, it's sort of omen for next year :)
