You just saw this wonderful vid and still you see him sadder? What does he have to do to convince you that he's not sad? No offense, but I will never understand some people I guess... Don't worry about him, I'm sure he's fine.
@Ellie5621 It's a bit long to explain, and of course I may be wrong too, but imo what people seem to forget is how british press has mistreated him since Hiddleswift. Or how he was roasted in a tasteless british comedy show just last March for doing impressions and being his generally happy self. So the common denominator I see is London. He's serious in every red carpet in London (like the ones you mentioned), even at this very show (GQ Men of the year) and once inside he's more relaxed and he smiles and jokes like he used to. If you think of it, in the AIW Asian leg promo and in LA he seemed to enjoy himself much more. In Jimmy Kimmel's show he was pretty funny too. To me, it's clear the problem is between him and the awful british press. Because they said all kind of mean things about him, all completely undeserved (remember how his GG speech was criticized? For nothing?). Two days after this event he was at NYFW for Ralph Lauren's 50th anniversary show and he was smiling in the red carpet and then making Rose Byrne laugh like crazy. Again, not in. London.... And then of course we can't expect he to act the same as 8 years ago. People change because they grow too. The rest, I think is more projection on the fans' part than real signs of sadness, let alone depression. That's what I see at least.
Also I forgot to mention that you said "since Early Man premiere" and coincidentally, that was his first public event in London (there's no filming of him while he was doing Hamlet one year ago) since Marvh 2017 (KSI premiere) which to me was the last time he was willing to put up a smiling face for the british press.
@Ellie5621 (Last things first: I don't find it insulting, but depression is a mental illness so I don't use that word lightly, that's all.) Now, I don't think that if many people agree or draw the same conclusions on sth, that is necessarily the truth. History is full of examples of people believing in someone or sth that was later proved wrong. And I feel like the ones saying "Tom is sad" sometimes push things to fit in their narrative. For example you saw pics of him at RL50 and thought he was withdrawn, which has a negative meaning, but he could as well just have been distracted or bored, like he's been in many of his old ensemble interviews where he sometimes had to ask "what was the question again?", cos he was zoomed out and deep in thought. So to me that's the same behaviour he has always had. But I guess you know that some people have even said him not shaving was a sign of depression!!!?? I mean, wtf??? I love his beard!!! So anyways, I don't think him being more serious (which I've already admited he seems now) means there's sth wrong with him. And if you've ever heard about the "sad clown" theory, people should have been more worried about the "dancing bear" Tom from the past than about the "pulled back" Tom from the present, and yet no one was (please note that I don't think there was a problem with him then either, just saying this as an example). I truly sometimes wonder if this "concern" is just a selfish need to be entertained by him. Hope you don't take it as offensive, that's not my intention and I'm sorry if I sound like that. I'm not ruling out that he could've been going through sth personal, but the truth is we don't have the whole picture so this is all speculation, and sometimes can get quite negative. There are people on Twitter that # and @ him to tell him directly how bad and depressed he looks/looked for instance. Not sure what they're trying to accomplish by that sick behaviour, but it seems they think it's ok, or they are even helping him by doing that... And that's why I'm so tired of the "sad Tom" theory. Hope you can understand my point of view., and at least "agree to disagree". Cheers.
MorDandis1 I agree he’s never been the same after that whole Taylor fiasco. But this video makes me think that maybe he’s getting better. He seems slightly happier

That’s what you get , when your hire women on their looks...
Tom gets 10/10 goldblums for that impression
No he was not that good. I have seen others do Goldblum a lot better.
@@eddiewinters7184 This comment section is so serious 😂 He was having a bit of fun, it was an impression done in the moment and not one intended to be judged by strangers on the internet.

-Maya: "I'm gonna google it, I'm gonna google"
-Jeff: ...wtf..???..." googled it, yes yes."
Ahaha i am dying, thank u for that man. Insane funny

She said “I’m gonna google it.”
And then he replies, “Googlin, yes yes.”
Jeff reaction is a big mood
Tom Hiddleston is a genius at impressions! He’s a very talented mimic.
Tom even did that thing Jeff does with his fingers I can't 😂
Celebrities volume :- 30%
That girls voice :- 100%
I literally felt like my headphones were acting up and I had to close the app and restart it. Annoying
They don’t want their lips touching that filthy mic.
Well yeah. Since she had the mic.
Is that a personal attack or something?
That’s stormzy’s bird
I absolutely love that he needs to be informed on the ongoing, ever changing slang, and he gets so excited to learn a new term or phrase.
He's 66? He looks amazing!
No. Way.

It does feel like Jeff has been around for centuries and still learning.
He has been adapting to different lifestyles and cultures sinfe forever. After spending a fair share of his days with dinosaurs, he's now trying to fit in with the newer generation minus the dinos
Aww, poor Tom, you can see that he's internally dying when they mention how good his impressions are as he's stated many times he doesn't want to be known for his impressions 🥺 When you're that incredible of an actor though, it's hard to not be good at anything involving that type of art; hopefully in time he will be able to take it as a compliment to his talent 💙
He says he doesn't want to be known for it, yet does it at every single opportunity. The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Tom Hiddleston is smiling. Precious!

It's videos like this that get me through the week. Tom is so adorable it makes me so happy. Plus, him and Goldblum make for an iconic duo.

I love him SO much. He reminds me in the very best way of my late dad when he was young.
How tall is this girl? Cause Jeff Goldblum and Tom Hiddleston are super tall.
Or...high heels
A box?
Katherine Rochester she’s fashionably tall
Fafanimation Those are very tall high heels.
Sarah Alison True. probably but the way she moves doesn’t look like a box.
I love how Tom clearly has so much respect for Jeff, and how Jeff's clearly fanboying Tom with the fact that he knows both that it was on Graham Norton and that you can look it up on RUclips... Quality 💕
jeff has the most chaotic energy and im totally here for it
Tom Hiddleston does amazing impersonations, his De Niro and Owen Wilson impersonations are great. A very very good actor & seems to be extremely versatile. Should be the next Bond. Sparckles.....

Yes, I'm English. I assumed she was saying crawled but with all her "shut it down" and similar phrases, I wasn't 100% sure. Could've been any old codswallop
I hope to see Tom again .
Not only in Marvel's movies , I say in general. I really miss him , his talent and charisma...i hope he is well ... because i see him...different...sadder😞
He is my inspiration and idol ...i don't want him to suffer or to be sad... Someone of you knows some news about our Thomas ❤️?
I NEED TO KNOW😭
You just saw this wonderful vid and still you see him sadder?
@Ellie5621 (Last things first: I don't find it insulting, but depression is a mental illness so I don't use that word lightly, that's all.)
Now, I don't think that if many people agree or draw the same conclusions on sth, that is necessarily the truth.
