Tone missed the mark on cube selling the barbershop. This is not a story about him being desperate. Its supposed to be he takes it for granted and looking for greener pastures. It represents how us as the audience take barbershop for granted
Michael Ealy reminds me so much of Mekhi Phifer from Soul Food. A young man from Chicago with a criminal past but wants to turn his life around. This is my all time favorite movie. The one thing I just didn’t understand was Calvin constantly keeps kicking out the hustle guy for no reason . He loves the shop just like everyone else.
Your guys’ criticism is valued. I enjoyed this movie. Here are some fun facts: Calvin’s wife was played by Jazmin Lewis. She’s an under the radar actress & Terri’s boyfriend was played by Jason George. He was on the Eve show as well. This movie was coverted into a series. Omar Gooding played Calvin on there. Can we please get Blackbusters on the following holiday movies: The Perfect Holiday Almost Christmas The Kid Who Loved Christmas
they've tried one format for 2 years, even though I'm a fan, I think it's smart to "refresh" the platform to bring in more audience. even tho jah brought us here, the tone takes makes for good content for sure.
Barbershop is a really good movie. It spawned 3 sequels and a tv series. Comedy just isn’t Tones thing, because he nitpicks it and try’s to put the pen in his hand too much. The movie worked and is a 5 out of 5. Y’all gave less criticism to roll bounce and lottery ticket.
The thing with Vin Diesel and triple X, and also fast and the furious, was that at that time of Vin Diesel was kind of following a lot of the monitors of the old actors. I know Jack Nicholson is one of them where they don’t do sequels and that’s why he didn’t come back for those two I think he started doing some of other films that started to flop at the box office, like the pacifier the one find me guilty he got paid Hella money and a lot of creative control which brought him back to the fast and the furious series which funny enough at the very end of Tokyo drift. He was never in the original movie. They added him in as a last minute thing because Tokyo drift was not gonna do well at the box office.
I think jimmy needed the big punch on the boyfriend. He needed a redeeming scene and a scene to show that him and eve may bump heads but he has her back.
I love this show but Tone going on these negative rants when I feel like he’s not even seeing the full picture is just hard to listen to …. Somebody gotta reel him in when he does that
When was cube in "i got tha hook up"?🤔..........and the majority of them movies tone named, cube was only an actor in when the topic was about what movies he actually made!!!
I love the show but I think tone and drew are too similar to each other like they both do great but we need a another perspective maybe a more comedic or a hood type of guy to kind of be combative because tone is serious jah counters tone like I can see jah telling tone Anthony Anderson was funny in barbershop or we know ppl in the hood who really is that silly or that dumb to do sumn like that and I think tone is missing the message we take stuff for granted thinking the grass is greener if we had more money but cherish your ppl your community build it up and don't judge a book by its cover which is why it is in depth with so many characters because it shows each character is complex
Def don't think trying to explain the barbershop mean it was for white people. It's easy to take sumn for granted if u always had it. So why not emphasize its importance for and to our community

This neega said Vin Diesel is a better actor than Cube? The best line delivery Diesel has is "I am groot"

The Perfect Holiday
Almost Christmas
The Kid Who Loved Christmas
The amount of roasting and strays in this episode. Everybody getting it 😂😂
I don't think its so much Calvin not wanting to be a barber as much as him not realizing what exactly a barber can be.
This one I wanted to see with Jahh but I’m glad it finally got a look
Its time for a blackbuster intervention #bringbackjah😞😞
Give time to figure out change. I would be greatbifbthey brought on guest for fresh energy or opinion
It's still a good show

@@Daytona386 i think the channel would go to the next level if they would review the new black TV show and movies here and there
@brettthomas6327 very true. plus I've been waiting for a black TV show spinoff one since they started. Maybe they'll sprinkle that in too.
Feel like stress isn't always the biggest factor for stupid decisions, sometimes ambition is
1:13:51 - 1:14:29 - You can tell that the hate comments have been getting on Tone's nerves if he felt the need to say that 😂.

Big Anthony Anderson was hilarious to me growing up lol. W.e role he was in, I just wanted him to win
Keith David played a good guy in there's something about Mary!!
Yes, he's a DECENT & MULTITALENTED ASS ACTOR HIMSELF TOO AS WELL OKAY @jphuture.

Lester could not attack him because he know how important that building is community
Its like American gangster. You can't attack would bring too much attention or community turn on you
& BESIDES, Lester HIMSELF WASN'T A COLD BLODDED ASS MURDERER either, just simply a BUSINESS MAN okay @djharris8491.

Cube was in the scene when Black and Blue went to pick up the old raggedy car and guns. He was only in it for like a hot second.
Yes finally the one I was waiting for.
Great video fellas, classic flick 👌
