It’s Late here in The Highlands of Scotland, I Will Comment more On This Tomorow, This has Cheered Me Up as I got Word today That My Brorther Passed away Earlier this Year, both of us Ex Salvationist’s. God Bless You All !!
Powerful stuff! My favourite part is a toss-up between; the bandmaster singing, the drummer enjoying his fills or the second horn NAILING her runs throughout the piece Thanks NYSB - you are role models for modern banding; always brining a fresh perspective, a palpable sense of praise going to the Lord and wonderful music making.
Wow, this Just Came Up on My Feed, This is Amazing, The Bandmaster & Band Are Clearly Feeling the Love of God & The “Holy Spirit” is Moving within Them.
Why does so much SA music of this type require noisy dramatic endings? What happened to that still small voice of calm? Anything to do with generating wild applause from the audience?
Have you ever heard/seen this live ? If so you would feel God’s power coming through and touching everyone in the room amazing experience. The finale of a 45 minute selection called creation. Please NYSB show a recording of the whole piece
@@stephenargent4010Why would you expect an arrangement of "How Great Thou Art" to not end exalting Him? It would be completely anti-climactic. There's tons of SA music being written that's more meditative out there. This one just happens to be loud and dramatic. Like for every one of Eric Ball's 'Serenity' there's a 'Kingdom Triumphant'.
@@devingallop4385 that’s a fair point well made, I guess my frustration is that the SA is facing a crisis, the downward trajectory of numbers and impact ( despite the wonderful people who remain) seems terminal so a period of reflection might be more appropriate
Amazing piece of music and such superb playing. When I heard this live at Regent Hall, you could really feel the power of the music!! Awesome!!
Something quite amazing, William Booth would be so proud, of what has been achieved.
I definitely agree with you 💯

the Band Master not only conducts this one; he literally "channels" it for the glory of Almighty God. Maranatha!
