That guy is a freaking Monster
If you had to make a d-line and you could select anybody in the league, Gerald would be one of the four guys on that d-line. He has been double-teamed so many times, that it's just become easy to beat them.
Double team AND triple teamed. In his time there has't been anyone else for the offense to consider blocking. He's the focus. If only he had more help.

Indeed McCoy is probably the best rushing DT in the lg. If it weren't for his injuries he'd get like 8-10 sacks a season.

my dude got the clamps from Zach Martin... but he's a baller no doubt
True but Martin was the only guard that has the combo of speed and power to take him on effectively. He's still very strong and his explosiveness is something few guards can handle.

Don't get me wrong he's a monster and deserves to be high on this list but come on everyone knows that Damon Harrison is the best dt in the NFL

Mattydubs 29 Hard to say because they're different types of DTs. Harrison doesn't pull in sacks but is a monster run stuffer while guys like Geno Atkins and Aaron Donald pass rush
I mean I understand where everyone's coming from but that fact that Harrison is 40 spots behind him is kind of bs

Did he even have a good year this year? i wasnt watching him.
He had 34 combined tackles, 7 sacks, 5 passes defended, and 2 forced fumbles/recoveries. Besides stats, he pressures the QB very well even though he's double teamed 9 snaps out of 10. I think he also played through a hand injury for most of the year, but I'm not sure. Judge how you will, I say that he had a good year.
Sounds pretty good to me, wast being rude about him i just wasnt paying attention to him this year so i had no idea, he could have been 1st team all pro this year for all i knew lol

I'm a Bucs fan and I got to say that Aaron Donald is a Freak....dude is on his way to being one of the greatest Defensive Tackles to play this game. I was eating Cereal when I read his combine numbers....That was not a good decision.
