They can never ever be friends. And that's even the more reason that makes me fall even deeper in love with our beautiful Deen. Sadly in this day and age, we are losing this dignity among our interactions. May Allah protect us from this and increase our imaan. I believe, by just adhering to the prescribed Islamic restrictions when faced with the opposite genders, we would solve many of our current problems of society.

But most likely you can't. As long as they're being called men, they will always be attracted to women.
