gojo’s an action kinda guy so he was trying to show his consideration to riko by protecting her (wearing himself out) & playing with her since if she chose to merge these would be her last moments. gojo & geto were the strongest which is why they were assigned to mission in the first place toji’s naturally a bad match up for most but the main reason he won was his plan to wear gojo down.
