This is a great video not just for pronunciation practice (although we could have done without the National holiday whopper 😂) but for useful idiomatic phrases to slip into conversation with Hungarian friends! Kiraly! Keep them coming. Üdvözlet Edinburghbol.
Having now watched this a good few times, I really appreciate best the ‘Beugrok a boltba’ type phrases. More so than the sayings. NOT a criticism of this wonderfully useful video, just a report on what I took away(gratefully) from this video.
Thanks for the feedback! That was a conscious decision not speak too much English. The problem is that I think I have students with different needs. I know some students are bothered by hearing English when they come to learn Hungarian. And I see their point, because to learn an accent you have to forget your own language's 'sounds' and by switching back and forth between English and Hungarian it would make it harder. Even more the focus of this video is pronunciation and the meanings are just an extra. I'm curious what the majority thinks. Anybody who sees this comment as a student: What do you prefer? Shall I speak only Hungarian during shadowing or you would prefer hearing the English meaning too? Also: How many of you use my videos as a background filling and how many of you sit down and concentrate on it fully? Thanks again for the feedback!
You're so fun to learn from !
Köszönöm! Ez most tényleg jól esett ☺🙂

Örülök, hogy ez is tetszett 😁 Olyan nehéz volt a dátumos rész? 🤔😁
‘The early bird catches the worm’ = ‘Ki kórán kel aranyat lel’
Nem ismertem ezt az angol mondást, de jól illik rá 😁
Wieder mal super!
Danke!
Nincs mit!

Idősebb szukaként szeretném megtanulni az aktuális szlengeket, szóval nem tűnök olyan öreg szukának :D
Értem, de vigyázz a 'szuka' szót ritkan használjuk és inkább mások megsértésére 😁
could add english part too so we can learn without have to look at the screen to understand ? so we can learn while doing other things...
