I think what most fans don’t realize is that Batman usually doesn’t recruit them. The robins are the ones that start off their own career. Like, in Batman 2004, Dick literally went out on his own to fight the guys who killed his parents before Batman had even said anything about his identity. Dick just found out and basically started kicking ass and was like “either I do this with you, or I do it alone. I’m not stopping”. In most iterations Bruce doesn’t really have any other choice
@@sophiadebar382 He recruits them though. You see the fact that the kids started on their own doesn't absolve Bruce the adult, of the responsibility of stopping them from endangering themselves. Even if Dick decides to do it on his own without Batman, it still falls on Bruce to stop the child and discipline him. There are more measures he can take to stop them.
@@Rengokuo4o6 I mean, it’s been established that these children Bruce adopts are so messed up, that if he DOES stop them, they’ll literally become murderers in their later lives trying to get back at the people Batman didn’t let them stop. Dick literally becomes apart of the court of owls in one universe. Jason becomes basically psychotic. Don’t even get me started on Damian. They hold resentment towards Batman for not letting them help. This is shown in BTAS when dick goes batshit when he realizes Bruce knows and is tracking down who killed his parents without him. This isn’t a cut and dry issue of “all Batman had to do was make them stop” because what do you expect him to do, watch them 24/7 to make sure they don’t sneak out? Send them to an orphanage after already adopting them? The main point I’m making is Batman doesn’t adopt these kids to make them into Robins. He adopts them to give them the solace he never really had
@@sophiadebar382 Obviously, if DC did an actual story where the Robins just had a normal life and moved on the Batman's actions would be hard to defend wouldn't it? All the kids he adopted become Robins or sidekicks so it is hard to say he doesn't do it for them to become Robins. The kids are young and impressionable therefore they want to be like Batman and be heroes. It is the responsibility of Bruce as the ADULT, to stand and say No this is dangerous. Take them to an Orphanage after even adopting them is a good idea.
Terry stole the batsuit and became batman bc gothan needed one, dick accidentally found the batcave and would've grown up normally like anyone else(ntm he wouldve been a talon under the court of owls if bruce never picked him up) ntm the other batman actually achieved happiness while being batman something bruce wants but believes he doesn't deserve or should have. So no a batman without a robin isnt a good thing (especially since most go crazy or start killing)
Because what you people call "sane" is unrealistic in the context of the universe. In a world where someone who has their shoelace break and decides to become a super villain over it, the only sane thing to do is to collect orphaned children or raise your own to defend themselves and keep a cesspool like Gotham clean.
To everyone saying this Bruce is the most reasonable or responsible, it's been shown in plenty of times and stated by mainline robins their lives were better with his involvement than without. Also Postcrisis Bruce actually did try taking Jason to an orphanage before deciding to adopt him...and the lady turned out to be using the kids as thieves.

@@Kacszu you just repeat what writers told you in the comics to justify their stories about child soldiers. Millions of kids have it worse every day, yet they don't need this kind of "therapy". And the audacity that Helaena has to be like "he's not yoyr father you little whack job" babe, he ain't your father either, so drop the attitude 'cause you ain't better
Helena of all people is Bruce's only Biological Daughter's could've his only kid if comics ever stay the same. So ironically she is just as much one of the few people in said argument that could have said anything. Huntress is Helena Wayne first. What she was so rudely trying to say is, that the Batman in front of them, is not the exact same Batman that trained each of them.
In this scene they are being influenced to argue and fight amongst eachother. Just like green lantern was fighting doctor light. Also this clip missed the chance to show Terry (Batman Beyond) step into the fight.

That last line from that Batman caused EMOTIONAL DAMAGE.
Holy shit, is that Jensen Ackles???
Yes I was surprised as well I want to see him in brave and the bold
I asked the same question just now 😂😂 Dean for the win
Why is it that the most sane sounding and reasonable Batman is also the one who makes the least amount of sense
Because what you people call "sane" is unrealistic in the context of the universe. In a world where someone who has their shoelace break and decides to become a super villain over it, the only sane thing to do is to collect orphaned children or raise your own to defend themselves and keep a cesspool like Gotham clean.
That last line is BRUTAL😂
damn Batman I thought you didn’t brutalize kids😂 didn’t have to scar a mf like that🤣
"The Hilt would've hit his head."
Damian speaking from experience.
iykyk
"The hilt would have hit his head" is a cool reference to how Damien actually killed Dick in another timeline
The funniest part happens after the orphanage line is Terry goes to snuff Bruce for that comment 😂
Glad I didn’t watch that movie because I never liked that overrated batman😂
Terry gets rammed by Damien before he even gets close to Batman
Batman ran over him
damien, don’t fight with your sister 😂
Damian picks a fight with any and every one just to prove that he's better
@@taraungoogle8482Damian: I'm stronger, I'm smarter, I'm better! I am better!
@@PrimarchRoboleonFrenchyman Bruce: You are a fucking disappointment

Terry gets what Batman is.
For context someone was messing with their minds. That's why they're fighting.
"I was right to leave your counterpart at the orphanage" nah that's just wild 💀
He's right though
When Batman say “fuck them kids” 😂
They brought back the Batman Beyond voice actor
Yeah for 2 lines basically
To everyone saying this Bruce is the most reasonable or responsible, it's been shown in plenty of times and stated by mainline robins their lives were better with his involvement than without.
Also Postcrisis Bruce actually did try taking Jason to an orphanage before deciding to adopt him...and the lady turned out to be using the kids as thieves.
Lol that’s just coping from the writers. Made up hindsight is still 20/20
@@DanJuega yeah like he can just adopt and guide them without even letting them get involved in his work
@@AC12246 Lmao maybe he shouldn’t adopt if that is the case and his work involves violent criminals. Let’s not forget one of them ended up with a crowbar in the head.
You only made it worse.
@@AC12246the guidence comes in the form of fighting crime because that's what they need. They all are broken and Bruce was broken like them. He knows what he needed than and because of them having similar circumastances he knows what they need to turn out in the way that they gonna be proud of them selves. In toger words what they need to end up happy and sain is becoming a Robin. That's their therapy. Witchout it, no matter how much therapy you gonna get them, they gonna end up terrible.
@@Kacszu you just repeat what writers told you in the comics to justify their stories about child soldiers. Millions of kids have it worse every day, yet they don't need this kind of "therapy".
Last time I checked, Jason Todd was broke, not broken. Want to help an orphan kid that stole your tires? Use your money to build a better orphanage or find him a loving family. But nah, better get him killed by a clown.
Was this Huntress broken? Or Batgirl? How?
“Dropped at the orphanage” my goat would never
I swear Batman has the coldest lines. It’s like they make them perfect for clips like these 😭
Dudes getting mad at batman for questioning using children to fight deranged psychopaths is crazy
They are mad their father and mentor is being questioned
Terry should've said you had more than one child
Honestly its kinda cool to see terry feels like hes not considered part of the bat family
Thats crazy they stood up for him and had resentment at the same time towards him
"I was right to drop your counterpart in the orphanage”-fatality
The bats are one messed up family
But you just gotta love them.
But Great video
YO WAIT IS THAT BATMAN BEYOND?! *FINALLY!!!!!*
"We know what we're doing" says the guy who looked away from the Joker and then got knocked out by him
This is actually the most sane Batman
Terry M Batman nostalgic AF he still got the voice
"I know the phrase I was looking for: f'ck off"
Guys, their rage was being unleashed by Psycho Pirate. That’s why he said that
He saved lil man from a mean axe kick to the dome and that's "shoving kids around?" 😩
I love how Will Friedle played Terry for this again
For context, their anger was being manipulated and amplified by Psycho Pirate.
“You little whack job” 😂
And the audacity that Helaena has to be like "he's not yoyr father you little whack job" babe, he ain't your father either, so drop the attitude 'cause you ain't better
Everyone's better then Damien
Helena of all people is Bruce's only Biological Daughter's could've his only kid if comics ever stay the same.
So ironically she is just as much one of the few people in said argument that could have said anything. Huntress is Helena Wayne first.
What she was so rudely trying to say is, that the Batman in front of them, is not the exact same Batman that trained each of them.
Bro, this is like the only Batman I’ve seen with the most sense and most reasonable
_No matter the universe, Soldier Boy will always be a dick to his children..._
"I was right to drop your counterpart at the orphanage"
Damn bro chill. Yo just met them.
Did he, though?????
I mean technically. Yes Jason did die but he got back up. He may have been extremely pissed off but he did get back up😂
The let his sons face the danger and this how to be great father 😎
Damn terry would gladly roast batman
You can always here Dean from supernatural Jensen Akles...
I am Batman forshadowed in the show years ago..
Now he's Batman
Terry and Barbra being the only reasonable ones here. Even more than Batman.

Glad I didn’t show anything from that overrated asz Batman wannabe 🤦🏾♂️
Why they keep referring to this Batman as if he actually knows them
Emotional attachment to his counterpart?
That’s gotta be the coldest thing Batman has ever said
That fact this batman has the nerve to say their batman was a fool with Terry standing there is crazy.
The fact 3 of them got Bruce dna makes the father argument even more better
This Bruce spit facts throughout this whole exchange. He was the most responsible. Having 5th graders out fighting armed thugs and supervillians overnight is psychotic and irresponsible as f**k .
