Hey man! I am traditionally a men's 7.5 US...that is a 5.5 UK or 38 EU. I usually get my cleats a half size smaller. The mercurials were always a tight fit for me because my feet are naturally wider (still love the mercurials). But my first experience with these Nike Phantom Venom boots was amazing right out of the box. Yes, they are "wider", but it is very comfortable. I still think that if your mercurials are tight by your toes, then you should try the same size. Hope this helps!
The studs look relatively clean so I assumed you used them on artificial grass? Chevron studs on artificial grass? That's gonna break them in no time! Or did you actually used them on FG? If yes then that is indeed a concern as I just ordered a pair myself and planning to use them exclusively on FG
I hope this was an isolated occasion. I played in my Sunday League games with these probably six times and a couple practices (all on grass). They probably made out well for you, I honestly would worry about it.
@@MRMAD9 first of all thanks for the reply! I've been using mine for around 5 games thus far as I do rotate with my other pairs. So far so good. I wonder if the manufacturing place play a part in its durability and quality check as my colour way is the made in Italy version rather than the usual Bosnia or Vietnam versions.
@@noah-ph9bc almost 10 months in and still going strong. But I have only been using them on FG. I realised that even on harder natural grass during the dry season, it's holding up very well indeed. No durability issues at all
What size are you? I’m a uk 10 in mercurial but want to know will a uk 9.5 fit in these phantoms as they are a wider shoe

this was dope! really enjoyed watching, and damn i wish i were still playing football so i could get a pair lol! these look so nice :)
Thanks man, and no better time to get back into it!
Good work! Did you end up ordering a new pair of cleats?!! You better make a new review if you did! Hopefully the new pair don’t break! 👍🏽
If you are playing with the fg stud pattern on artificial grass the studs will break so use the AG version
