Nice! Good job adapting that carbueator to fit on there! I would try sand blasting that tank out and maybe sealing it with tank sealer, you will be surprised how well it will probably come around!
Thanks! I haven’t given up on the tank. I think it’s the same tank that’s on my Cub Cadet I might have one just have to take a look 👀 Thanks for watching👍🏻
I have the exact same mower currently just got running to sort of. My carburetor was the same as that one no needle valve so it must of came that way as mine does run just little rough as I looked for high and low screws to. The wheels on the outside should have a lock on the outside right on the main shaft there is a pin and a slide mechanism that you can pull down and straight and pull the wheel off.
Those wheels are only to transport the mower you take them off when mowing. Most homeowners cut the axles off. You really don't need the transport wheels for anything they roll well on the metal drum.
Very cool mower and great job getting it running so good 🔧👍

The wheels come off for mowing, theyre just for transport.thats why it has the kick stand .

That is awesome, never found a Jacobsen engine.
My Tractor Forum has a free manual for the 321 engine, there is a non-adjustable carburetor shown that uses a bolt only to retain the float bowl.
It is a neat little engine. Thanks for the info on the carburetor

That gas tank is the exact same tank that is on my 1968 Jacobsen chief 800. I’ll bet it’s late 60’s.
I think you are right late 60’s
