- Staying married for 18 years is not a common thing in 2024. Wonder how we did it? We share some stories of our Vegas marriage and show you what we're doing on our anniversary in this fun vlog. The secret? It's our love and commitment and that shines through in every second of this video. I love her and she puts up with me. Ha!
Today was a GREAT Friday, filled with new windshields, 18th wedding anniversaries, and prom photos for the boys! We kicked off the day with the not-so-glamorous yet essential task of replacing our car's windshield, but it quickly turned into a celebration of our love as Shannon and I reminisced about our 18th wedding anniversary. We shared heartfelt memories from our adventurous Las Vegas wedding, giving you a glimpse into our journey together.
As the day unfolded, the excitement ramped up with prom night preparations for our boys. We dived into choosing the perfect outfits and capturing festive photographs, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
In between these special moments, we indulged in some casual dining at Whataburger, relishing our favorite picks and discussing our preferences-a tasty break that was much needed! The day also included several shopping trips, capturing our spontaneous product finds and lively family discussions at places like Sam's Club and ALDI.

Loved this! Jonathan...I didn't know y'all got married in Vegas. Have you been back since? A LOT has changed!! Funny story...Mine and my husbands first time to Vegas....I realized that a cop back home kept my license when he pulled me over. I was just like Shannon and couldn't do anything except walk through the casinos and look around. Haha! That was fine with me... all I wanted to do anyway. Lol
Shannon went a year or two after we got married to visit family but not since then. Maybe for our 20th!
We took so many pictures today...only a few made it into this video.
