It’s so pleasant to stroll along the oceanfront walk through the hobo jungles and outdoor insane asylums. No wonder it’s such a popular destination for tourists and beachgoers!

Sometimes, police are willing to work with homeless.. But sometimes , the homeless are so messy, the police have to clean them out.. We had a guy called Waters living by us. Clean guy, and police did welfare checks on him often.
A few months ago, another guy moved by Waters that we called Piles. He left piles and piles of garbage everywhere. Waters tried to help keep it clean, but piles threw things at him. The police cleaned them both out. Waters never came back. But piles is back..

One word: KISS: Keep It Simple. Just travel with a pup tent, a sleeping bag, and a bike.

They don't want the guy video taping around but they can go around with their garbage where they're not allowed to be.

No expectation of privacy in a public place, video all you want. It would be interesting to set up trail cameras around these encampments overnight, sure to produce good content!

You don't think that's kinda rude?
Unhoused people are allowed to have property just like you are. The Beach looks to be open to the public.

      @@anotherworldviewispossible Not at all!
The beach along with all other public spaces are open for all of us to enjoy as long as we obey the law. Camping and littering on the beach is illegal for all of us.
If you are in a public space no one has a expectation or right of privacy.
If someone wants to take a picture or make a video in a public space it's no one's business, it goes with the territory of being in the public. These derelicts are not a special case.

@@findawayormakeaway8857 Cool. Then the next time you're at the beach you won't mind me intrusively video taping you and your stuff.
Camping is an overnight thing. This is daytime. This individual has the same rights you do... Though obviously you think you have more, and seek to look down your nose at him.

@@anotherworldviewispossible You are free to video tape me anytime I'm in the public as I am to video tape you. Not "intrusive" at all. When I go to the beach or anywhere else I don't drag around piles of trash with me.

I've been out here homeless since 2008 and I have never had anything close to this much stuff, even when I still had a car. I had a storage unit at 3rd and Rose for 11 years that I finally moved out of the end of June because the rent was getting way too expensive. And I downsized into an 80 liter backpack and just got rid of everything else that was in there. Mostly it was just clothes and a couple of thousand books that I've found over the years while out recycling that I donated to a few Little Free Libraries in the neighborhood. And that backpack is all I need. It's big enough to fit my sleeping bag, a laptop computer, a little tablet that I use just for the reading app on it, a weeks worth of clothing, an umbrella in case it rains, and a little bag with shampoo and soap and stuff like that in it. Its all I need. I don't get why they need all this stuff. It's insane.

Yes another way of describing is mentally ill. Doesn't matter how they got there, they are mentally ill now and that is the underlying issue we don't want to deal with. I am working on a solution with ChatGPT but only have a couple months to live. Pray God grants me the time I need. As far as your situation how come with access to internet and AI can't you resolve your issues? I genuinely care and may be able to help. I've been homeless with a family of six. I've also lived in million dollar homes.
