Thank you very, very, very much!! I saw a video that said the ultimate guide to missing levels and still didn't work, but yours worked perfectly for me. You are a lifesaver, a blessing. Subscribed!
oh wow you are an absolute hero !!!!!! my project has been referencing the wrong level for everything and we have not been able to find the level in any view or visibility/graphics override - thank you so so much !!!!
dear byoung. you are the best. I spent 2 hours reading all Revit posts on how to fix this issue to no avail. watch you video and voila, my levels are back. thank you so and the little one for the help. best mahasukh
Thank you! This really helped me out today! I love the baby in the background, I have a nine month old and a two year old often in the background of my Revit projects as well...haha.
haha I figured it was better to get the information out there rather than wait until naptime, glad it was relatable :) Also, so glad it helped! It's a weird quirk but luckily has a fairly simple solution.
hi . I just went through what you explained in your video hoping it works but it doesnt work . still i have 5 levels which is whown just 4 levels . is there any other way ?
Yes! When I first downloaded the new Revit those tabs were missing. I was concerned that they weren’t offered anymore because I use the structural and systems tab all the time! I found out it was just a setting and got it right back. Under the user interface you can control which tabs are on and off in your ribbon. Go to the File menu, and go to Options. Under User Interface, check if the Structures tab is set to show. Good luck!
Thank you for posting. I'm an absolute novice. Are there levels that get created by default below grade? My instructor says they are but I only have level one and two. What am I doing wrong?
Hi! The standard template generally just has 2 levels. You can add additional levels though and put them wherever needed - above grades below, etc. When you open elevations you’ll see the different levels. From there you can literally copy and paste an existing level to wherever you want to it go or you can click the elevation marker in the top ribbon and then drag the elevation line wherever you need it. Does that make sense?? Also, if your instructor is providing a specific template, it’s possible they have already included the elevations that they’re talking about. Otherwise it’s super easy to just make your own!
