As to the last video, the dance battle; they weren't really battling another group, it was a battle of the companies, more or less. It has been a tradition between YG and JYP. YG put together a group of guys for a dance battle, vocal battle, and I believe a vocal or rap battle. It was all in good fun and there is never really a "winner" chosen, it's more like "we all know who won that one."

@katharinakraven Other groups have always fallen into the kpop sound. SKZ gets blasted all over the place for making "noise music" or being "too noisy". While still nowhere near the amount of noise Western rock influences reach, they're still way out of the kpop norm (there are other groups as well, not just them, that buck these traditional roles in kpop). In the US, some songs are on the lighter side and still receive hate from those who like the bubblegum pop sound. And let me just say--I don't like the bubblegum stuff. That's how I found SKZ.
