They won’t cancel this, it’s being updated constantly with a growing user base. Steam DB shows the game gets patched up to 5 times a day now with players increasing every day. Right now there are 1265 players playing concurrently, the highest ever and the trend is increasing. Valve also recently put in a trademark for deadlock
That was a VERY different case. That time a hacker broke into their servers to acquire the game files. Now Valve gave out the game access to some testersa nd each tester has the ability to give out invites to 3 more people. You can do the math inyour head, but that leads to the tester userbase growing faster and fgaster, and that's what's happening already. I think Valve has been in communication with some community members about the invites. Officially you agree not to reveal the game when you get your invite, but Valve isn't stupid, they know leaks would come out and to an extent they might even allow it as some sort of marketing, but that last part is just speculation so take that with a grain of salt.
the half life 2 leak was a whole different situation they are not going to delete this game especially since it is close to release along with there being a alpha test with ~3000 registered players.
