- In this video we hike to mountain tops in Vesterålen and drive through Lofoten. We discover a glacier mill, drive past a viking longhouse and have a look at some impressive fish drying racks packed with fishheads.

Most people do overlook Vesterålen as Lofoten is more renowned internationally.
But, as you say, it's just as beautiful.
As often is the case with tourism, some spots gets widely advertised, while true gems remain hidden and unexplored, only frequented by those in the know.
Personally, I prefer it that way.
We totally agree with you. There are so many hidden gems. We revisited Vesterålen last summer and were once again impressed by its beauty. Those videos will come later. Greetings. Tina and Pieter.

@@alexdriebergen De rivier is idd te zien langs de weg. Het is een indrukwekkend gebied waar je door rijdt en er zijn een paar mogelijkheden om te parkeren. Het was een zalige vakantie 😉
