- This is a town we never thought we'd visit ...in fact, we didn't even know it existed until now! Welcome to Williams, Arizona, a historic town along the famous Route 66 - full of character and old American charm. Join us as we spend an action packed two days here in the 'Gateway to the Grand Canyon' as they call it. We'll be ticking off all of the best activities, such as the Grand Canyon rim walk, riding a thrilling mountain coaster and meeting Grizzly Bears at a Wildlife Park!

A bonus part of the Grand Canyon express is the train robbery on every trip😃 I hiked down and stayed at camp on bottom and took two days on the way up and stayed at a midway camp. They both were amazing, staff with rangers, with night time activities (star gazing, lecture, story telling). I didn't realize you can't see the bottom from the top. The view from the bottom is crazy.

As exciting as that sounds im not sure my budget can withstand a robbery.
They have amazing luxury rafting trips through the canyon, starting at Glen Canyon dam and lets out at Lake Mead you should do that

Fun fact- you can also get fry bread (the base of your Navajo taco) as a sweet treat and they serve it with some honey. It’s like a beignet but a lot more hearty. So good!

We went to the bottom of the Grand Canyon! Entryway through a Indian Reservation. Have to get permission from them and pay a fee.
