there’s one clamp that comes in the box as you see in the video, and is the upper one that goes to the antenna mast. If you need to install the rotor on a pole then you need to order another one optional for the bottom side. In my case I don’t need that as I put the rotor in a cage. 73
@@IZ0MTW tnx for your quick answer. I bought two years ago a GS-1000dxc and unpacked it yesterday. There is no clamp in the box and when contacting the seller (Hamshop in The Netherlands) they state the top clamp, GC-038, is optional and need to be ordered separately. I think that's wrong since what purpose does a rotor have without a top clamp?
@snuitje100 I agree with you. But you said you bought a GS-1000dxc? Mine is only G-1000dxc without the “S”. Perhaps it was only the motor? guessing…there are few different variants, like the dxa for example. Mine comes definitely complete with upper clamps. Anyway just buy the clamp, I think it shouldn’t be that expensive.

I was mistaken, the rotor is a G-1000 dxc and i have found the clamp with all the hardware in the plastic bag.
