when i was younger (middle school and high school) i was OBSESSSSSED with nail polish. i had a wheel of all the designs and had over 500 which made me felt like a queen as a 13 year old. I recently fell back in love with doing my nails since i broke my nail biting habit FINALLY. I've been obsessed with essie's sugar daddy, white, and black. its hard for me to get into color because warm tones clash so much with my skins undertone
Totally agree on the Essie top coat. Best one I've ever tried! ANY polish I pair it with lasts a full week before I start getting chipping or wear on the tips. And it dries SO DAMN FAST! Obsessed.

Less is Norse is definitely my number one as well this year! Love it! My second fave is Suzi & The Arctic Fox. I have bought two of the essie Gel polishes and I do want to try more shades. The only thing that doesn't chip on my nails is shellac which I only ever get as a treat or for vacations. My job basically prevents any nail polish from lasting long for me, even the essie gel. I do notice a difference if I work less or if I apply it on a friday night it lasts well into monday or tuesday which is good for me. As much as I hate chipping I do switch my colour up a lot which is enjoyable. Can't wait for spring to get back into pale pinks, lavenders and light blues.

I completely agree with your number one pick. OPI Less is Norse is unique and gorgeous! But Excuse me Big Sur is beautiful on the toes! I wore it during the summer and I couldn’t stop staring at my toes lol. Those two are my favorites from 2017. Also Fearlessly Alice & Super Trip-I-cal-I-Fiji-istic. Also Essie’s Social Lights. There is one polish I wore the most of last year but it’s China Glaze’s Secret Periwinkle. Gorgeous polish. I have 3 bottles of it and I love it on my toes as well lol. But I also agree with OPI’s new spring collection. Only 2 polishes I want from there. The blue & yellow polish. I hope OPI steps it up this year.

Amy one of your videos you were wearing Beau-Tie. And I couldn't stop staring at it. I had to hunt it down. I actually stopped the video to find it. 😬 So good. Even better to know how close it is to OPI Sapphires In The Snow. Essie Sil Vous Play with and accent of OPI Charmmy & Sugar was one of my very favorite manicures last year. I wish the chrome-y polish from the Essie Grunge collection the purple/lavender one was exactly like Sil's formula. As I would have them both. But something is not the same.
I think the Lisbon collection is a lot of dupes or really really close ones. No one, well I won't say no one. Because we all know how some people can be. But I personally wouldn't mind you picking the topcoat as number one. Because my hubby was snooping through my watched RUclips videos. And happened to see your gift idea one. He bought me the Essie Gel Couture topcoat and 3 polishes. I didn't have any. So it worked out. (Of course since then I got Beau-tie) But I put on one of them. And ended up sick and not dealing with life etc... LOL! Before I realized how much time had gone. It was 10 days and no chips. My only issues was regrowth. And that's not even a problem. So can't thank you enough for the suggestion. And then my hubs for being nosy and awesome for supporting my nail craze. LOL!
The order of polishes for you for wedding from these would be #3 - Excuse me Big Sur, #2 - Getting Nadi & #1 - Inside Scoop. The thing you want to remember about your nails is you don't want the color to take away from you. So a more soft color is best.. And with your beautiful eyes i would also say a soft lip color as well.
I think it might be an idea to wear a nail color that matches the wedding color theme or the bridesmaids dresses. I don't know , is that tacky? 🤷♀️ or something that you know looks bomb with your skin tone but is very sophisticated

In 2018, I wish you would get your nails done less and try out new polishes when they are still new. I love your nail polish videos but by the time you talk about them they are usually old news.
Why do I have to get my nails done less?? And with a few exceptions, I’m pretty up to date on what I try from the latest collections I’m interested in. Please keep in mind I’m not a nail polish trying machine, I’m just a normal girl who’s really into nail polish. I do the best I can 🤷🏻♀️💅🏻

My faves are more on the low end. LA Colors Vanilla Latte and Sinful Colors Bare. On the high end, OPI Russian Navy.

For an indie nail polish, try Phoebe Moon’s Moonshine Mani brand! They apply amazingly and Phoebe does some really pretty polishes!

My fav polish thinner that works wonders for me is Orly’s thinner. Hope that helps a little! :)

I just got my first OPI nailpolish, Less Is Norse... and it’s terrible. :( Guess I’ll stick to Essie and Mavala.
I love all of those shades but they are all opi and essie which is a pity as they are not cruelty free brands!!
