You are right, however; it sounds both spartan and pedestrian by today's standards. Nostalgia has its place, as long as it doesn't interfere with the perception of reality -- which is why I personally have had Planet Purge, part 2 (Midnight Tyrannosaurus/EH!DE) on continuous auto-loop ever since I first heard the track, myself.
