I think once you get a gem you should be allowed to use the Partisan, but not before. It's a quest reward, so a special exception should be made since it *is* required to allow you to make full use of your chest loot.
Same, I think you should be able to use items if they get augmented by something from a chest, like master wand, dragon defender etc, makes the most sense
You didn't have to risk your sappling. Trees can be cured with the secateurs. From wiki, "For diseased trees and bushes, the player may use secateurs on the plant to trim the diseased branch and restore the crop to health."
The Pyramid Plunder doors aren't time-based, it's based on other people entering the minigame. When someone enters, the doors move. However, if you've already opened the door that it gets moved to, then it's going to be the last door
Can't believe you did Beneath Cursed Sands without killing the shadow. The fight is way easier if you always focus the shadow first! (The wiki says so too)
I dunno I struggled fighting it until I learned to stop killing it. Tank gear, praying against mage in second phase, you'll be going through the boss faster generally which can help make it up via reduced food usage.
Yeah this is how I should have done it realistically as the simplified ruleset is easier for a viewer to follow, when I made this account I created it for my own enjoyment, and the rules I chose reflect my enjoyment (like a lobster pot not being able to catch lobster, but a fishing rod + bait can because it uses a resource) - Confusing I know!
You can't take the tea out of your poh but you definitely can take the boost out if you drink then Tele out. Gotta time it right though with the stat restore timer.

Honestly I've always found the rules of the series super easy to understand. You can process any resources you get however you want but you only get them from chests.
I 100% think you should allow the partisan, at least when you get a gem. Not being able to use yellow gem would also kind of just lock you out of higher invo raids
I just finished my own sceptre grind to get 2 of them, this minigame is actually miserable. Love the series, Tellacon, can't wait to see you get spooned on raids loot!

Mahogany Homes is absolutely a better use of resources as far as training goes; you'll never get the same value in a House that you do in Mahogany. A Mahogany Novice contract gives about 1,200 XP plus what you build, and usually only costs you 8 planks and a bar at most.
I think just like the Avernic from ToB or the Kodai from CoX, you should be able to use the drop once you get it. So if you get a gem I think the karis is fair game. There's no point in being chest locked if a whole bunch of uniques just aren't usable.

keris of breaching is huge, so like what someone else said, for the sake of content it's an acceptable bend to the rules if you start using it only after you get the gem.
Just like youre allowed to use items for quests, you should be able to use items from chests that rely on other items to be useful, ie the gems for the partisan. If you really want to make it more challenging, dont use the partisan until you unlock all 3 gems, but I'd say the gem partisans are all free game
It can still get diseased while watered. Watering reduces the disease chance per growth tick. What he CAN do is trim diseased trees and bushes with secateurs. You actually cannot use plant cure on bushes and trees.

So close to the original goal of the series! This is gonna be good. Question though, why not train woodcutting by doing cox raids? It’s required in some layouts to get to the chest so should work for the account right? Sorry If this has been asked a dozen times already
When I made this series I made it for my own enjoyment instead of considering what ruleset comes across well to a viewer, so there are a lot of weird rulings I made that I deemed would kinda ruin the accounts enjoyability, I decided to only allow skilling in CoX if I am going for a chest completion, rather than being able to use it infinitely then leave if that makes sense, if not stuff like the stone chest wouldn't really have a use
If you believe that getting the Partisan as soon as you get a gem is to easy, you could "trade" (dropping a number of gems) to get access to the Partisan.
