    I didn't understand EVERY thing in this video (ie, last 2 minutes, I got a bit lost), but I learned so much useful stuff overall, including those generally useful (and sometimes indeed VITAL) maths techniques that OCT reminds us of and gives us practice on now and again, for which I am so grateful.

    MR. Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for another fantastic video/lecture on the Triangle Proportionality Theorem, Side Splitter and Angle Bisector Theorems in Plane/Solid Geometry.     Just do the top bottom method 8 over 12 =6 over x then cross multiply 8x= 72 then divided by 8 on both sides giving you 9

    Thales Theorem - paralles lines divide triangle sides proportionally. You can't use size-split theorem for parallel lines.
    Angle bisector theorem - if a ray bisects the angle, the opposite side is proportional to its adjacent sides

    The side splitter theorem is the converse of the triangle proportionality theorem. Would it have been more accurate to have written Triangle Proportionality Theorem up top when explaining that problem?

    In the first example......why is the longest length AB and BC written on top.....and why is it written AB......bottom to top and BC is writen bottom to top

    for the 2nd to last problem i have an easier way to calc it. Set 8/x = 26(total of left side)/65(total of right side) = 26x=520 =520/26=DF=20 :)

      look at the example of the side splitter theorem and the ratios used. then apply the same ratios in the smae place to the new problem and finish with algebraic arithmetic.
